Top 5 contenders for Unified WWE Championship after TLC

The sooner the better

3. Antonio Cesaro

Swinging his way into the Main event

Swinging his way into the Main event

It has come to such a point that Cesaro’s Big Swing is more popular than most of the so called mid carders in the company. Stuck in a heel stable with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter, Cesaro has been on his own league among the fans when it comes to his in ring abilities. He is currently used as a tag team wrestler who could give more depth to the division but it won’t be much time when the WWE finally decide to push him as a singles competitor that he naturally is.

Coupled with the in-ring chemistry he had with Cena and Orton, Cesaro promises to pull out a rabbit from the hat if given a chance. It’s going to be a lot of work for the creative to work on this push, but this one looks certain to hit the jackpot if carried out without flaws.

2. CM Punk

Destined for the title picture

Destined for the title picture

Punk has been already locking horns with the Authority and making him part of the title scene after TLC would be another dimension to the whole Authority thing. It could even set up a future showdown between Triple H and CM Punk which promises to be a cracker. Currently in a feud with the Shield, Punk is destined to the title picture sooner or later but in the current situation of plummeting ratings, sooner will be better.

A feud between Punk and Orton with the Authority in the background itself brings some credibility back to the main event. That way the Shield could also be relieved to fulfill some work elsewhere as Cena could go against Cesaro or Daniel Bryan. From all angles, making Punk a contender is profitable move for the company.

1. Daniel Bryan

Yes ! Yes ! Yes !

Yes ! Yes ! Yes !

One could feel nothing less than sad about the roller coaster ride that Bryan has been put through by the creative team. Despite the whole arena chanting his name when asked about the man they want to see as champion, Triple H seemed to be deaf and stuck on his conclusion that Bryan is a B+ star. Bryan is not tall enough, he has a beard, he looks like someone who doesn’t bath, but most importantly he has the skills and the intensity to win the fans over.

Ever since his debut in WWE, Bryan has been pushing the envelope to a different level and making stars like Orton and Cena to step their game up. After doing all these and producing one of the catchphrases of the year, Bryan still remains lacking of a substantial title run, and there won’t be a better time to introduce him to the title scene than giving a shot at the Unified title.
