#3 Where is the RAW Tag Team Championship scene heading?

Over the past couple of months, RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders have gotten into some interesting, yet ridiculous, competitions. The two tag teams were not scheduled to have a match at Backlash but appeared in another comedic segment.

The two teams never took to the ring and brawled at Backlash in a cinematic match to give the fans something entertaining to watch. However, before they could get close to any result, several men pulled up on motorcycles. Akira Tozawa revealed himself as one of the bikers and gave a quick promo in Japanese.

From there on, the match went all over the place without heading to any conclusion and ended with both teams lying in a dumpster and the segment came to an end at Backlash. While it’s always enjoyable to watch comedic skits from WWE, the ones between these two teams are getting out of hand now.

It's been a while since the RAW Tag Team titles were defended

The last time The Street Profits seriously defended their titles was at WrestleMania, and it has been two months since then. It seems like WWE is trying to keep both teams as faces, and that could end up costing them in the long run.

After the conclusion of the segment on Backlash, one wonders where WWE is heading with all this and what’s the scene for the RAW Tag Team Championships.
