WWE Crown Jewel 2021 could have a stacked match card

With the world going back to some level of normalcy over the last few months, WWE is all set to return to Saudi Arabia for their next mega-show, Crown Jewel 2021. The pay-per-view will take place on October 21, 2021, at Mohammed Abdu Arena on the Boulevard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This will be the third edition of the Crown Jewel chronology and WWE's sixth event in the country, as part of their 10-year partnership. It is a well-known fact that these shows are huge money-makers for the promotion as well as provide a great payday for the superstars.

As has been the case in the previous shows in Saudi Arabia, WWE will look to have multiple top stars and legends compete on the show to give the fans yet another memorable night.

Let's take a look at the full match-card predictions for Crown Jewel 2021. Be sure to comment down and let us know your thoughts and predictions on the same.

#7 Goldberg vs. Bobby Lashley at Crown Jewel

Returning part-timers and legends have been a huge part of WWE's shows in Saudi Arabia. One of the most featured names among them is Goldberg. WWE Super ShowDown 2020 saw the Hall of Famer defeat "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt to become the new Universal Champion, a decision highly criticized by many.

More than 18 months later, he looks all set to have yet another huge match at Crown Jewel 2021. The WCW icon unsuccessfully challenged the then WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam 2021 earlier this year. However, Lashley ended up assaulting Goldberg's son Gage following their match.

Following their match, Goldberg made it clear that he's not done with The All Mighty. Well, he is back on RAW now and looks all set to have his rematch against Bobby Lashley at the upcoming event.

He will surely be the favorite heading into the match, especially due to the respect of his family being on the line. We might even see Gage getting involved in the finish, helping his father defeat Lashley at Crown Jewel 2021.

Prediction: Goldberg wins

#6 Edge vs. Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel

Crown Jewel 2021 will likely see yet another WWE Hall of Famer perform as Edge might be facing Seth Rollins at the pay-per-view. The two have been feuding against each other for multiple months now, holding one victory each in their two matches so far.

Rollins has made things a lot more personal this time by invading The Rated-R Superstar's real house and threatening to hurt his family. As is the case with any such family-centric feud, Edge will be the favorite to defeat Seth Rollins in a feel-good victory for the fans in attendance.

Reminder, this will be his first match in Saudi Arabia and the fans there would be excited to see him in action live at Crown Jewel.

Prediction: Edge wins

#5 King Nakamura vs. Keith "Bearcat" Lee - King of the Ring tournament final

WWE has announced the return of the King of the Ring tournament which will begin on the season premiere episode of SmackDown next week. As per reports, the plan is to have the final of the tournament at Crown Jewel 2021. It just makes sense to crown the new King of the Ring at a pay-per-view that has the word crown in its name.

While no participants have been announced for the tournament as of the writing of this article, we'll surely see multiple top names from both RAW and SmackDown compete in this.

An interesting idea would be to give King Nakamura a "free pass" to the final to defend his crown. Someone like Keith "Bearcat" Lee, who has returned with a newfound attitude, could be a great fit to face Nakamura at Crown Jewel and defeat him to become the new king.

Prediction: Keith Lee becomes the new King of the Ring

#4 Shayna Baszler vs. Liv Morgan - Queen's Crown Tournament final at WWE Crown Jewel

In addition to the King of the Ring tournament final, Crown Jewel could also feature the finals of the newly-announced Queen's Crown Tournament. Just like its male counterpart, this tournament will also begin on the season premiere of Friday Night SmackDown next week.

Fans have for long asked for a female version of the King of the Ring tournament and WWE is finally giving it to them. There are many names on both RAW and SmackDown's rosters that could benefit hugely from winning this round.

While no brackets have been announced yet, we predict Shayna Baszler and Liv Morgan to be the ones that reach the final. Considering Baszler's recent dominant form, she could be a great pick to win the inaugural Queen's Crown Tournament at Crown Jewel 2021.

Prediction: Shayna Baszler wins

#3 Big E (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship

WWE Champion Big E could be facing a huge challenge at Crown Jewel 2021 in the form of Drew McIntyre. Last week on RAW, after his successful title defense against Bobby Lashley in a steel cage match, McIntyre made his intentions clear to come after the WWE title. Something which he was not allowed to compete for as long as Lashley was the champion.

While The Scottish Warrior has been drafted to SmackDown, WWE has announced that the draft will come into effect after Crown Jewel. Due to that, McIntyre could start a feud with Big E on RAW, leading to a title match at the pay-per-view.

While the company isn't usually good at booking two faces in a feud, this could be a pleasant exception to that. The New Day member would be the favorite to retain his title at the show.

Prediction: Big E retains the WWE Championship

#2 Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women's Championship at Crown Jewel

The first of the two matches already announced for Crown Jewel 2021 would see Becky Lynch defend her SmackDown Women's title against Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks in a triple-threat match. WWE might well advertise this as the first-ever women's triple threat match in Saudi Arabia.

In addition to that, the pay-per-view would also be the first Saudi Arabia show to feature more than one women's match on the card.

Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair faced each other at Extreme Rules last month. However, their match ended in a disqualification as Sasha Banks returned to take both of them down.

Now, the dynamics of this match have become interesting following Night One of the WWE Draft that saw Belair move to the Red brand. In addition to that, the current RAW Women's Champion Charlotte Flair was drafted to SmackDown. The status of Lynch and Banks is not known yet as the two will be part of the Night Two of WWE Draft.

If The Man remains on the Blue brand, we might see Bianca Belair win the title at Crown Jewel 2021. However, it's unlikely that WWE would keep both their top female names in Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch on the same brand. If Lynch moves over to RAW, she might retain her title.

In either of the case, we might see Flair appear at the end of this match at Crown Jewel to swap her title with the winner of the match, becoming the new SmackDown Women's Champion and making the other the RAW Women's Champion.

Prediction: Becky Lynch retains her title

#1 Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WWE Crown Jewel 2021

The second match, and the most likely main event of the show, announced for Crown Jewel 2021 is that for the Universal Championship. Roman Reigns will be defending his title against arch-rival Brock Lesnar at the pay-per-view. This would be Lesnar's first match in WWE after nearly 18 months since his WrestleMania 36 match against Drew McIntyre.

While the two have faced each other multiple times in the past, the dynamics are completely different this time as The Tribal Chief is the heel while The Beast Incarnate is the babyface. The inclusion of Paul Heyman in the angle and Lesnar hilariously trying to put a rift between him and Reigns has made for some entertaining segments.

Roman Reigns would be facing his biggest challenge yet as the Universal Champion at the upcoming event. However, it's unlikely that WWE will take the title off him and put it on Lesnar.

For all we know, he might go on yet another hiatus after Crown Jewel, returning around WrestleMania next year. Reigns has faced and defeated multiple legends this year, and Brock Lesnar might just be the next in line to acknowledge him.

Prediction: Roman Reigns retains his Universal Championship
