With reports suggesting that Braun Strowman vs. Shane McMahon has been pulled off tonight's Fastlane card, the two men might not be facing off after all.

However, WWE is yet to release an official statement on the match and could play along by implementing the cancelation of the match into the storyline. The company officials could call off Strowman vs. Shane, while the pay-per-view is on-air and instead initiate the build-up to a match between the two for WrestleMania 37.

Following Shane McMahon's slime attack on Braun Strowman from Monday Night RAW, the latter is expected to be in a foul mood. However, WWE could get the former Universal Champion back on track by having him destroy Shane before the scheduled match between the two kicks off.

In doing so, WWE could set up a WrestleMania 37 clash between the two.
