WWE Main Event results

WWE Main Event returned to Columbus Ohio, yesterday for its scheduled TV tapings.

Main Event opened up with Seth Rollins making it to the ring for an announcement. Rollins announced that a second, Money In The Bank Ladder Match has be scheduled for the MITB pay-per-view and stated that he's the first participant for the match.

Later, Dean Ambrose made it to the ring and the two exchanged blows. Kane intervened to help Rollins but Ambrose got the upper hand at the end

Rusev vs. Santino Marella

Lana began Rusev’s entrance with her typical promo as the crowd responded with "USA" chants. As Rusev began to share his thoughts, out came Santino Marella to the ring.

The match finished quickly as Rusev blocked a kick from Marella and leveled him with a kick of his own. Rusev delivered The Accolade at the end for the win.

Winner: Rusev

Paige vs. Naomi

WWE Divas Champion Paige came out to the ring to face Naomi in a non-title match.

The two exchanged blows at the beginning of the match. Towards the end, Paige prepared herself to deliver the ‘Paige Turner’ but Naomi successfully blocked the maneuver and nailed an inverted DDT for the win.

Winner: Naomi

The Wyatt Family vs. Sheamus and The Usos

The trio of Wyatt Family came out to the ring followed by the WWE United States Champion, Sheamus and WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos.

The match went swiftly with exchange of blows with lots of tags. Harper found himself at the receiving end of lots of offense and near falls at the end. In the height of the action, the Samoans failed to notice Bray Wyatt tag himself in. Though the Usos executed an aerial offensive, Wyatt caught Jimmy Uso with a Sister Abigail for the win.
