WWE Main Event Results: Alberto Del Rio wins, Kaitlyn makes final appearance in the ring

This week’s Main Event opens up with Tom Phillips and the Miz on commentary.

Match One: R Truth and Xavier Woods vs. The Real Americans

Fast-paced match that featured some solid offense from both sides. Swagger and Truth lock up and Truth locks in a side headlock. Swagger takes Truth to the mat. Truth gets to his feet and locks in a side headlock. Swagger hits a shoulder tackle. He goes for a clothesline, and Truth hangs on to the rope.

Truth hits a head shot and tags in Woods. Woods locks in Swagger’s arm. Swagger backs him to his corner and Cesaro tags in. Cesaro slams Woods’s head into the corner. Woods comes back with a crossbody. Woods gets out and tags in Truth. Truth hits a several clotheslines and gets a pin attempt. He hurricanranas Swagger out of the ring and follows him. Cesaro gets off the apron and tries to attack, but Truth hits him in the face.

Swagger tags in and kicks Truth in the face. He hits Truth with the Swagger bomb. Cesaro tags in and lands his double boot stomp. Cesaro lands his Gutwrench suplex. He locks in Truth’s head from behind.

Truth gets to his feet and fights out. He tries for a pin attempt, but Cesaro is able to tag in Swagger. Swagger stomps on Truth and locks in his head. Truth tries to power his way to Woods. He fights out and hits Swagger with a heel kick. Cesaro and Woods tag in. Woods hits a springboard dropkick and a kick to the stomach. He lands another dropkick on Cesaro and goes for a pin. Cesaro kicks out. Woods goes for another pin, and Swagger breaks it up. Truth tosses Swagger out, and Cesaro tosses Truth out. Woods hits Cesaro with the Honor Roll. Fandango‘s music hits, and he comes out on the stage dancing. Woods stares at him, and Cesaro hits his European uppercut for the win.

Winners: The Real Americans

Match Two: Alberto Del Rio vs. Justin Gabriel

Del Rio immediately hits Gabriel and stomps him on the mat. He whips Gabriel in the corner and drives his boot into his throat. Gabriel hurricanranas Del Rio through the ropes and leaps over the top rope, taking him out. He sends Del Rio back inside and goes up top.

Del Rio lands an enziguri that sends Gabriel toppling to the mat. He locks in Gabriel’s head from behind. Gabriel fights out. Del Rio hits a snap Suplex. He locks Gabriel’s head back in.

Gabriel gets out, but Del Rio lands a headbutt. Gabriel lands kicks to the body, and one to the face. He hits Del Rio with another kick to the head. He charges and splashes into Del Rio in the corner. Gabriel goes up top and hits a crossbody.

Gabriel goes up top again, and Del Rio stops him, causing Gabriel to get caught up in the center rope. Del Rio stomps Gabriel in the chest, sending Gabriel to the mat. Gabriel is on his knees, and Del Rio Superkicks him in the side of the head for the win.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

Match Three: Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. 3MB’s Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal

Goldust and McIntyre start off. Goldust lands an atomic drop. Mahal tags in and Goldust locks in his arm. Mahal comes back by sending Goldust into his corner.

McIntyre tags in and kicks Goldust in the mid section repeatedly. Mahal tags back in and keeps the attack up. He locks in Goldust’s head from behind. Mahal lands a high knee to the head. He takes Goldust back to his corner and McIntyre tags in. The heels double team Goldust.

McIntyre stomps on Goldust’s head. He chokes Goldust on the center rope. Goldust fights back with shots to the stomach, but McIntyre hits a big kick. Mahal tags in and stomps on Goldust. He drops a knee on Goldust and gets a pin attempt.

McIntyre tags back in. He kicks Goldust in the mid section. Goldust fights back with right hands. Goldust hits a back elbow. Mahal tags in. Goldust hits him in the face and lands a powerslam.

Cody tags in. He hits Mahal with a pair of clotheslines and gets a pin attempt. Cody kicks him in the stomach and lands an Alabama slam. McIntyre gets in the ring to attack, and Cody clotheslines him over the top rope. Cody hits a disaster kick on Mahal for the win.

Winners: Cody Rhodes and Goldust

Match Four: Kaitlyn vs. AJ Lee (With Tamina Snuka)

Lee offers her hand, and Kaitlyn shakes it. Lee locks in a side headlock. Kaitlyn lands a shoulder tackle. She locks Lee in a side headlock. Lee slams Kaitlyn to the mat by her head.

She offers her hand to Kaitlyn again. Kaitlyn goes to shake it, and Lee kicks her in the stomach. Lee bails out of the ring. Kaitlyn chases her around the ring. Snuka stops Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn and Lee get back in the ring. Lee tries to keep the attack up, but Kaitlyn is able to mount some offense. She power whips Lee into the corner and lands a clothesline. Kaitlyn goes for a bodyslam.

Snuka gets up on the apron and distracts Kaitlyn. Lee hits Kaitlyn with a dropkick to the face and locks in her head from behind.

Kaitlyn gets out, but Lee hits her with an elbow. Lee locks in a sleeper with a body scissors. Kaitlyn backs her to the corner to break the hold. Lee kicks Kaitlyn in the back. She kicks Kaitlyn in the stomach and charges.

Kaitlyn counters into a backbreaker. She hits Lee with several clotheslines and a flying shoulder tackle. She picks Lee up on her shoulders and hits a gut buster.

Kaitlyn tries to follow up the attack, but Lee counters into a submission. Kaitlyn breaks the hold, and Lee goes up top. She leaps off, and Kaitlyn catches her. Kaitlyn goes for a move, and Lee counters into a roll up for the win.
