WWE Monday Night Raw preview: September 7, 2015

A New Day beckons the tag team division

It’s good to see ‘The Icon’ Sting a regular on WWE TVThe latest edition of Monday Night Raw is just around the corner and just like every week that passes by, this week also has a lot of expectations to live up to.The Tag team division, the divas division, rest of the mid card and the main event scene is packed with excitement and it is actually a good time to be a wrestling fan. All the storyline need some push at this week’s Raw and they are going to get just that if WWE pulls all the strings right. This week’s Raw is going to be an exciting one for sure and here is a look at the possible segments that WWE would line up.

#5 Tag team turmoil

A New Day beckons the tag team division

The tag team division is seeing a great storyline right now. There is a confusion on who the number one contender is and it could only be solved through a full-fledged match.

The current teams involved in the scenario are Team 3D and the Prime Time Players. Both teams have a strong case in their hands and they deserve to get a shot at New Day. Settling this dispute would be the major movement in Tag team division this week.

There are also rumors floating around the internet which suggest that Los Matadores are being repackaged. If it turns out to be true, then we could also see them being pushed into the mix.

#4 Outnumbered brothers

Would we see the appearance of the much awaited partner?

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns is a losing war against the Wyatt Family right now. WWE is giving Braun Strowman a great push and he is unlikely to slow down anytime soon.

Ambrose and Reigns need someone to back them as soon as possible, but WWE is yet to come up with the big reveal. There are talks about Baron Corbin being the one and if he shows up this week, then things are going to be interesting.

Samoa Joe is another name that is in the mix. But since there were images of Corbin in the WWE’s website, it would be safe to say that Joe is out of the picture. Either way, Reigns and Ambrose desperately needs someone to aid them.

#3 Time to prove Nikki wrong

And the countdown continues

Nikki Bella came up with a countdown for her title reign last week.

Although the fans know that there is an irony surrounding the whole thing, the segment gave fans a new storyline angle ahead of the Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella match at Night of Champions. Charlotte getting the shot before Becky Lynch and Paige might result in some friction in Team PCB which acts as another subplot.

The Diva title storyline, in short, is going to get a lot of attention over the next few weeks. Team BAD needs to be deployed in a commendable manner as well and that is a headache that WWE has at this moment of time.

#2 The bathroom comedy

Are we in store for another worthless segment?

WWE has done a lot of stupid storylines over the years.

They added one more to their long list last week with the bathroom situation of Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae. It has turned into some sort of romantic comedy right now and Rusev is completely out of the picture. It is clearly not what the Bulgarian Brute would have wanted.

Lana behaving like a typical possessive girlfriend is getting mixed reactions from the crowd but apparently, she is pretty much over in the WWE Universe. It is an angle that desperately needs a new direction and hopefully, WWE would give the same in the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.

#1 Double trouble for Seth Rollins

Double duty time for the champ

Last week, WWE announced that Seth Rollins will be pulling off double duty at Night of Champions. It was a bold decision from WWE’s side and it puts Rollins under a lot of pressure.

Despite the pressure, it would be a great opportunity for the Architect to prove his doubters wrong. But most importantly, this opens up the door to a possible friction between Rollins and the Authority.

Rollins could straight away move into a feud with Hunter after Night of Champions irrespective of the result at the pay-per-view. Either way, we can expect some good angles for this storyline on this week’s Monday Night Raw.
