WWE News: Elias reveals two legends that he wants to face next

What's the story?

Elias has a good year or so in the WWE, as his "Walk with Elias" gimmick got super over with the fans.

The Living Truth does not have a match for WrestleMania 35, but he did reveal whom he would like to face in the WWE, hinting at possible matches against two WWE legends.

In case you didn't know...

WWE announced on RAW a few weeks ago that Elias would be the headlining musical performance at WrestleMania 35.

His performances on RAW recently have been interrupted by some Superstar or the other, and reports suggest that this could be the case at WrestleMania 35 too. John Cena is a name that's been suggested after Elias interrupted Cena at last year's WrestleMania.

The heart of the matter

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Elias spoke about how his act is unique in the WWE. He revealed the two Superstars - two legends - that he wants to face off next.

“Hey listen, it’s gonna sound kinda crazy, but I’m... Elias is such a character in a day of age where I feel like we’ve got a lot of wrestlers. And I’m not saying one thing’s better than the other, but for me, I think a big character like a John Cena. Like, a feud with John Cena would be fantastic. A feud with The Undertaker would be fantastic.

"And I know I’m putting myself in the realm of these guys, who obviously have these legendary statuses. I understand that. But that is the thing I need. On the main roster right now, I’m not sure there’s anybody that gets me at that level," said Elias. (H/T 411Mania for the transcription)

WrestleMania will be held this Sunday, April 7, 2019, at the MetLife Stadium. Elias is the headlining musical performance, while Alexa Bliss is the host of the show.
