Former NXT contestant and current WWE superstar Naomi returned to in-ring action this past Saturday after recovering from a 5-months long injury lay-off. She was a part of a WWE Live event coming from Hidalgo, Texas.
During the event, the former NXT star teamed up with Becky Lynch to defeated the team of Summer Rae and Natalya. Lynch picked up the victory for her team when she made Summer tap out. Below are the complete results from the Live Event:
* Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeated former Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boyz
* Zack Ryder defeated Heath Slater in what was described as a squash match between the two. The match was said to be about 9 seconds long.
* Neville defeated Bo Dallas in a one on one match. Neville won the match after hitting Bo with his finisher Red Arrow.
* The team of Sin Cara, Goldust, R-Truth and Cesaro beat the alliance of Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango), and The Shining Stars ( Primo and Epico)
* The Viper Randy Orton defeated The Eater of the Worlds Bray Wyatt after he blocked Sister Abigail and turned it into an RKO
* The team of Becky Lynch and a returning Naomi defeated the team of Summer Rae and Natalya after Summer tapped to Becky
* WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz defended his title against the Big Red Monster Kane. Kane won by DQ when Miz used a steel chair and the Miz retained his title.
* The Lone Wolf Baron Corbin defeated former World Champion Jack Swagger with his finishing maneuver End of Days
* WWE Champion Dean Ambrose defended his championship in a triple threat match against Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler. The match had plenty of near falls but was ultimately won by Dean Ambrose after he hit Alberto Del Rio with Dirty Deeds and pinned him for afterward to retain his title.
It's notable here that Naomi was sidelined since last April due to a torn tendon in her ankle suffered after WrestleMania. She made her on-screen return on the July 26th episode of SmackDown Live during the Divas segment where she confronted Alexa Bliss before being interrupted by Carmella.
Naomi made her main roster debut during the January 9th episode of Raw back in 2012 as a part of The Funkadactyls along with her partner Cameron as the backup dancers of Brodus Clay. She was drafted to SmackDown during the WWE brand Extension drafts.
