What’s the story?
A person’s wedding day is supposed to be one of the most joyous occasions of their entire life. Paige made an Instagram post today detailing how she was feeling on her wedding day, which is today.
In case you didn’t know...
Tumultuous would be a massive understatement when it comes to describing the last few weeks of Paige’s life. About a week and a half ago, private photos and videos of the former WWE Divas’ Champion were leaked on to the internet without her permission.
It is widely speculated that the perpetrator of the leak was also responsible for several others such as these including Hollywood actresses and other former WWE Divas. Paige’s fiancee, Alberto El Patron has had quite the trying time during all of this as well.
In an attempt to be there for the woman he loves, El Patron canceled a scheduled appearance at WrestleCon by issuing a statement through Prime Time Appearances. Del Rio then went on a tirade on Instagram a few days ago, as we reported here. Part of that Instagram post was Patron revealing that he and Paige were going to be married this week on Wednesday.
Paige actually proposed to El Patron at an independent wrestling event in October 2016. The couple has been romantically linked since May of last year.
The heart of the matter
Paige took to social media today to note that she was having a good time with El Patron. She also stated that she was feeling, “happy and healthy,” as you can see in the Instagram post in question below:
What’s next?
Knowing how active these two are on social media, it can be expected that there will be plenty of pictures of the happy couple on their day of wedded bliss.
Author’s take
No matter what your feelings are on the situation with the leak or with the relationship between Paige and El Patron in general, it is nice to see that Paige seems to be in a good place mentally, at the moment.
It is especially nice to see after Paige’s parents made comments previously about their concern for her mental and physical health in the wake of the scandal with her personal and private photos and videos being leaked.
Paige and El Patron have endured quite a lot of drama in their short relationship, and I only hope that they have found true happiness with one another. I wish them all the best. Congratulations to the happy couple.
