What’s the story?

Sin Cara has taken to social media in order to let fans in on his current health status, following the recently-released video footage of his leg injury.

Sin Cara asserted that he wouldn’t be able to compete at WWE’s Live Event in Lisbon, Portugal. However, the luchador simultaneously reiterated his aim to return at the earliest:

In case you didn’t know…

Sin Cara, whose real name is Jorge Arias, is a veteran of the sport and has been working in the WWE for the past few years.

The 40-year-old Superstar has been injured on multiple occasions in the past but successfully returned to the squared circle nonetheless.

The heart of the matter

Sin Cara suffered a gruesome injury — the details of which you can read right HERE — at a SmackDown house show in Madrid, Spain.

However, the popular luchador was relatively mum about the same ever since the unfortunate incident transpired this past Sunday night. Regardless, Sin Cara has now addressed the issue and apologized to the WWE Universe for being unable to perform at the Live Event in Lisbon, Portugal.

Furthermore, although the WWE is yet to elaborate on Sin Cara’s future and health status, the blue brand Superstar’s aforementioned post was re-tweeted on the promotion’s official social media account.

What’s next?

Sin Cara is presently undergoing rehabilitation on his knee. Sportskeeda will keep fans updated on the recovery timetable of the beloved masked Superstar.

Author’s take

Sin Cara is without a doubt one of the best high-flyers in the game today. The veteran brings a wealth of experience to the game, and it’s saddening to see him suffer from seemingly never-ending injury issues.

Here’s hoping Sin Cara gets back on his feet soon and makes a triumphant return to the ring, flying and winning like he always does.
