WWE News: The Rock gets married in secret Hawaiian ceremony

WWE legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has married long-term girlfriend Lauren Hashian in a stunning secret ceremony in Hawaii.

The People's Champ took to Instagram to announce the good news to the millions...and millions (154 to be precise) of followers he has worldwide, sharing two photos from the intimate ceremony.

The great one simply confirmed the news by captioning the photos of himself and his beautiful bride with "We do" and yesterday's date, as well as confirming the location and saying that he is blessed, before tagging his wife and the photographer.

How long have the pair been together?

The Rock met Lauren Hashian while filming The Game Plan, and started dating her following a divorce from his first wife Dany Garcia, with whom he has one child. Johnson and Hashian have now tied the knot, though, 12 years on from their first date.

Johnson had recently spent a lengthy spell in Hawaii filming Hobbs & Shaw, the latest movie from the Fast & Furious franchise, which also stars his cousin Roman Reigns. Who knows, maybe The Rock was using his free time on the island to scout locations for his wedding.

Will we see The Rock back in WWE?

It's been a while since we last saw The Rock in a WWE ring, with The Great One even confirming last week that he has officially retired from in-ring competition, but WWE are said to be trying to persuade the legendary Superstar to appear at SmackDown's debut episode on FOX next month. The Rock was a huge part of the first ever SmackDown and was a mainstay on the blue brand for years, but only time will tell if we see him in a WWE ring again.

One thing is for sure, though, now we can say, "Finally, The Rock...is off the market."
