What’s the story?

The Young Bucks may be one of the most outspoken tag teams in the world, but they also back it up in the ring.

This time, the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions have called out the current WWE SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions - The Usos.

In case you didn't know...

At the start of the year, The Bucks said they would love to wrestle two WWE legends, Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio.

With both Jericho and Rey Mysterio scheduled to work in NJPW again soon, this match may actually happen, but now, two thirds of the current ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions have turned their attention to two members of the active WWE roster.

The heart of the matter

Responding to a message on Twitter, Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks said this:

Below is the message they were responding to.

(Note: Umaga vs John Cena was in 2007, but I'm inclined to agree!).

The Young Bucks are very active on social media and have utilised it on several occasions to stir up some publicity, not least when they set up camp outside WWE Raw during a broadcast last year. This could be an off-the-cuff remark but, after Gallows urged The Young Bucks to come to WWE, it doesn't seem completely impossible.

The Usos
The Usos have hit new form since being drafted to SmackDown Live

What's next?

The Usos are obviously signed to WWE and, being the current WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions, that doesn't look like changing any time soon. The Young Bucks wrestle just about everywhere - from ROH to NJPW, and even having their own self-funded 10,000 capacity show scheduled for September.

The Usos have never had a WrestleMania match on the main card, there's no doubt if The Bucks came, that could change at the drop of a hat!

Author’s take

Did somebody say Superkick Party? Talk about teams who seem like they'd have instant chemistry. Both teams are probably in the form of their life too, to add to the spectacle.

These guys form two of the best tag teams in the world at the moment, and all I can say is, I will 100% be 'all in', if there is ever a chance of seeing these four guys in tag team competition.
