The main-event of Fastlane was an emotional roller coaster. The six-man tag match last night was supposed to be the end of an era for The Shield as a group. From witnessing their debut at Survivor Series 2012 to following their careers over the last 6+ years, it was an eye-watering moment for Shield fans when the trio celebrated for one last time in the ring at Fastlane.
Starting tonight, all 3 Superstars should pursue their own paths and be kept far away from each other. Dean Ambrose is rumored to leave WWE shortly, Rollins is supposed to resume his feud with Brock Lesnar while Reigns is also scheduled to be involved in a Mania program soon.
Thus, to ensure that last night's emotional Shield moment is actually honoured, WWE should do everything in its power to make the WWE Universe believe that The Shield is finally over. Also, it should start looking like all 3 Superstars have left this chapter of their life behind them for good.
