Is it finally time for John Morrison to return to the WWE?

PWInsider revealed recently that John Morrison had agreed to a contract to return to WWE. The former Johnny Impact and Johnny Mundo is a seasoned veteran and was a popular star in WWE before finding success in Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling in the last few years.

Most fans will have fond memories of Morrison who started off as a tag team star, winning the tag team titles with Johny Mercury (and later on The Miz), before finding success as an individual competitor. Morrison is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion as well as ECW World Champion.

With Morrison’s return to the company seemingly pending, the best time for him to return would be tonight on RAW. With SmackDown on FOX being more sports-oriented, it would make more sense for Morrison to get drafted to the Red brand on Monday nights. Morrison would instantly slot in as an upper mid-carder and would help get younger stars over along the way.
