Paige defeats Charlotte in a non-title match

Charlotte and Paige square off as Natalya watches the match from commentators area. Paige takes the control of the match early, but soon Charlotte retaliates and sends Paige to the apron. She mocks Paige by calling out that it is her house. Paige takes out Charlotte and sends her crashing to the ringside with a boot. She mocks Charlotte by doing a Ric Flair Strut.
Soon the match beins in earnest and Charlotte takes control with some underhanded tactics. She dominates the match for some time before Paige rallies back and delivers a sickening knee. The action is back and forth from then and it sees both Charlotte and Paige end up on the top rope. Paige delivers a Superflex from the top rope to a huge ovation. Charlotte kicks out adn Paige looks frustrated.

Charlotte, realizing she is in trouble, tries to end the match quickly with a couple of roll ups. But Paige survives. Charlotte tries to steal one by using the ropes. Natalya rises up on the apron and she and Charlotte get into a shouting match. Paige delivers a fall away slam to a distracted Charlotte for a two count. Ric Flair walks out and gets into a shouting match with Natalya.
Shane comes with a horde of referees and escortsthe Nature Boy back out. Paige uses the opportunity to roll up a distracted Charlotte to get the pin. It was good to see Paige gain a win and the storytelling was absolutely brilliant. Charlotte looked scared at the end of the match as she realized this maybe the case at Extreme Rules.
Sami Zayn defeats The Miz
The midcard bouts between these four superstars have been great as of late and this was not an exception eiether. Zayn controlled the first half of the match with some major devastating offence. A couple of armdrags, moonsault from the barricade and fiery offence from Zayn left Miz reeling. Zayn sent Miz crashing outside into the barricade not once but twice.
Zayn looked more focus than ever, but Maryse tried to get into his head. The action comes back inside and Zayn delivered vicious right hands in the corner as an Ole! chant went by. Miz counterd it by sending him crashing into the steel steps. It looked like a nasty fall, Zayn got sent face first . Zayn barely beat the count and Miz pounced on him with a killer instinct. Zayn struggled to stay in the match.
A figure four took most of Zayn’s energy as he struggled to make it to the rope. But an exploder suplex out of nowhere to the turnbuckles and a Helluva Kick took care of matters. Zayn earned himself the right to be in the IC Championship picture and it will be a Fatal 4 Way match at Extreme Rules.
Backstage Segment: Dana Brooke debut
Renee Young is backstage with Becky Lynch. Becky Lynch informs her that the eye rake last week on Raw by Emma was not a mistake but it was done intentional. She promised to deliver a Irish Lass Kicking to Emma the next time they meet in the ring. Emma interuupts her.
She tells that she should not worry about her eye but rather keep an eye on her back. Dana Brooke attacks Becky out of nowhere. Dana and Emma take out Becky and mock her in their usual manner. E&D are back together and let’s hope that they make the main roster as interesting as they did with the NXT.
Backstage Segment: Owens gets into trouble
Zack Ryder asks Shane McMahon to provide him another opportunity. Owens walks in and starts to deride Shane and how he runs things. Zack gets in the face of Owens to tell that he beat Owens at WrestleMania and thinks he should be the one be in the match not Owens.
Owens mocks him but Shane announces a match between them. If Ryder wins he will replace Owens in the Fatal 4 Way. Owens looks angry but Shane walks away. Is there a new twist in the IC Title picture?
