WWE reveals Cena's feud on return?, Owens vs Ambrose announced, James Storm update

Has the WWE missed a trick by revealing his opponent?

- The WWE are all set to be without their franchise player John Cena for seven weeks starting post-Hell in a Cell up until the next Madison Square Live special on 26th of December. It has been a matter of constant debate as to who Cena would drop the title to and would face on his return.

WWE has announced the opponent who Cena would be facing at MSG and it is the Celtic Warrior and current MITB briefcase holder Sheamus. The advertisement states that Cena would be ‘defending’ his title against Sheamus at the live special, which is odd considering the fact that Cena is speculated to drop the title during his short hiatus.

It’s maybe that Cena would get to keep the title around his waist or it might just be a strategy WWE is using to pull off a major swerve in the coming days. Whatever the case maybe, Cena vs Sheamus has been booked for the U.S. title for the MSG live special on the 26th December.

- The MSG live special card also includes another huge title match as Kevin Owens has been booked to defend his Intercontinental championship against ‘The Lunatic Fringe’ Dean Ambrose. This match, without a doubt, would tear the roof of the place and could easily end up being the match of the night. An Owens – Ambrose feud is thus a possibility in the months to come which, at the very thought of it, sounds tantalizingly promising.

The other big names advertised for the live special include The Dudley Boyz, Demon Kane, The Bella Twins, Mark Henry, Ryback, Rusev, Barret, Paige, Charlotte and The Miz.

- WWE NXT was taken by ‘storm’ when James Storm made a huge debut at Full Sail University. Many thought it was a one-off spectacle, but Storm took to Instagram to announce to the fans and the NXT talents that he is not done yet. Below is the post:

Storm came out on top against Danny Burch by using the 8 Second Ride at the recent NXT episode. He teased and dropped a hint on the return of his famous finisher, the 'Last Call'. It would be interesting to see how WWE utilizes the veteran, who has 15 years of experience in the business.
