#3. Braun Strowman vs. Seth Rollins for Clash of Champions

Seth Rollins did the impossible (again) when he defeated Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam to become a 2-time Universal Champion. It was surprisingly a clean victory that put over the Beastslayer as the biggest babyface in the company.

WWE realises that Rollins' second reign can't be as underwhelming as his first outing with the title, which means no more Baron Corbin and better title challengers this time around.

As reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE has pencilled in Braun Strowman vs. Seth Rollins for the Clash of Champions PPV, which is scheduled to take place on September 15th.

The Monster Among Men saved Seth Rollins from a beatdown at the hands of The OC on this week's episode of Raw. Strowman has been confirmed to take on AJ Styles for the United States Championship on next week's Raw.

However, WWE will book a few twists that would eventually set up the Universal title match for Clash of Champions.

Meltzer noted on the August 15th edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that despite the US title match being confirmed, Strowman is being groomed for Rollins. He stated that WWE may have a DQ finish where Gallows and Anderson interrupt the proceedings and attack Strowman. Seth Rollins can run out and make the save.

While Strowman is a great challenger for Rollins' title, it's a surprising booking decision as both Strowman and Rollins are babyfaces,

As we mentioned earlier, WWE will shake things up in this interesting storyline as we get closer to the PPV.
