#4 Real reason behind The Bar's split

Sheamus and Cesaro have been two of the best powerhouse performers in WWE in the recent decade. After the two had an enthralling best of 7 series of matches against each other, then GM Mick Foley decided to pair them together.

Calling themselves The Bar, the two managed to win tag-team gold on 5 occasions. However, the team split up last year with Sheamus taking time off for injury while Cesaro pursued a singles career.

Although Cesaro was not able to achieve much in his singles run, he is again part of a stable on SmackDown along with Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn. While speaking to Cultaholic, Sheamus revealed that the two had split up to focus on their singles careers.

Well me and Cesaro have achieved everything there is to do, we’re five-time tag champs. I think The Bar is something where we have cemented our legacies as The Bar, like we can always go back to that and anything we do will be massive, but we’re both on a bit of a singles journey at the moment and there’s still a lot I want to achieve as a singles guy. Obviously the Intercontinental title is the one I still haven’t won, so that’s all I really care about right now.”
