So without further ado, let us jump right in and take a look at the biggest stories and rumors of the day:

#5 Details on real-life hate between Candice Michelle and Melina in WWE

Candice Michelle was a guest on WrestlingInc's podcast and talked about her real-life animosity with former WWE Superstar Melina. Candice revealed that the two women hated each other and almost started a real-life fight with each other during a house show.

The former Women's Champion revealed that their real-life feud was translated into an on-screen program by Vince McMahon as he is brilliant at capitalizing on such things and using them for creating drama on television.

''That’s actually how my match with Melina happened. Legit. We hated each other. We were legit gonna go into a real fight at a house show. Twitter had just started, we said something to each other and then we had a match. It makes for great TV. Any time there’s any heat or drama, Vince is incredible at taking that kind of stuff and running with it.”

Candice Michelle further revealed that Melina hated her because while she herself came to WWE from the indie scene, Candice was just a pretty girl who got lucky in her opinion.

#4 Controversial WWE gimmick was ended after a complaint from sponsors

Vince Russo recently spoke on SportsKeeda's Off The Skript and discussed Goldust's run in WWE. Russo revealed that the reason behind WWE scrapping Goldusts' gimmick was because USA Network had complained about it after it got increasingly sexual and provocative.

“Bro, one day Vince [Vince McMahon] calls me in and is like, ‘[Throat-slitting gesture] It’s over, it’s done.’ I mean, there was no [argument] because it was affecting business. Bro, what do you do? We go from that guy to Dustin Rhodes? What could you possibly do?” (H/t: SportsKeeda)

Russo said that he felt bad for Goldust as it was just business and he had to pay the price for it despite putting in so much effort.

#3 Update on Triple H's in-ring future in WWE

Triple H had returned to WWE a few weeks back and confronted Randy Orton on RAW. However, it has been reported that Triple H's appearance was a one-off and the King of Kings will not be returning to in-ring action anytime soon. Here is what Cagesideseats reported:

Triple H’s recent return and match on Raw isn’t expected to lead to anything more and he’s back on the sidelines indefinitely.

Triple H had returned to RAW essentially to replace Drew McIntyre who had to miss the show because of contracting COVID-19. While The Game looked like he would be renewing his feud with The Viper Randy Orton, it looks as though Triple H's return was just a stop-gap arrangement.

#2 Vince Russo blames Randy Orton for WWE RAW angle

While speaking on SportsKeeda's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo blasted Randy Orton's promo on WWE RAW this week. Russo was unhappy that Orton did not address Alexa Bliss burning his face last week and simply entered himself into the Royal Rumble match.

Some of this has to fall on the talent. When you're Randy Orton and you got 20 years seniority and they ain't going to do a damn thing if you open up your mouth and complain.

Vince Russo believes that Randy Orton needs to take a stand and tell WWE that if they can't come up with something good then he himself will. Russo said that it was high time that the senior talent like Randy Orton start taking some responsibility for the product.

#1 Return update on Jason Jordan

Chad Gable was a part of WWE's The Bump and spoke about his former tag team partner Jason Jordan. Jason Jordan has been out of action since suffering a serious injury. While the former Superstar still works for WWE as a backstage producer, things are still uncertain regarding his in-ring return.

However, Chad Gable revealed that Jason Jordan has been making some progress and an in-ring return isn't completely out of the question.

“Speaking from a personal standpoint, he became one of my best friends throughout the [WWE] process and still is. It’s unfortunate what happened to him with his injury, but you never say never. He’s working on it, he’s trying to get back. And who knows, a reunion is always something I would never be against.” (H/t: SportsKeeda)
