#6 Brock Lesnar Royal Rumble update

Who will Brock Lesnar face at the Royal Rumble? That's the question that everyone is talking about.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that Lesnar will not be facing either Cain Velasquez or Tyson Fury.

Meltzer was told that Lesnar will work the Rumble PPV, however, he has not been outrightly told if the Beast Incarnate will defend the WWE Title.

The possibility of the Royal Rumble match being contested for the WWE Championship has been ruled out.

As of this writing, Brock Lesnar will wrestle at the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania PPVs, however, the identity of his opponents is a closely guarded secret.

#5 Cain Velasquez's return

Talking about the Royal Rumble, Cain Velasquez is currently slated to return as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match.

The 2-time UFC Heavyweight Champion was earlier rumored to face Lesnar at the PPV, however, that idea has been shot down.

Velasquez's last match was a non-televised bout at the WWE Supershow in Mexico City, His last televised match came at the Crown Jewel show where he lost to Brock Lesnar in a WWE Championship match.
