Here’s what we can look forward to in this week’s Friday Night SmackDown:
Mark Henry vs Ryback
The World’s Strongest Man ‘Mark Henry’ and Ryback will get physical on SmackDown following several weeks of staredowns between the two behemoths. This will be the first time these two heavyweights will meet inside the squared circle and one can be assured that something special is in store on SmackDown. There are rumors of a match between these two at Wrestlemania, and so the outcome of this match is eagerly awaited. Will Ryback be able to ‘shellshock’ Mark Henry?
Randy Orton and Sheamus vs Team Rhodes Scholars
In what will be a rematch from this week’s RAW, the recently reunited Team Rhodes Scholars comprising of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow will take on the team of Randy Orton and Sheamus in a tag-team match. Their match on RAW ended in a no contest due to the interference of the Shield. And the same outcome can be expected this week too. Orton and Sheamus seem to be incapable of handling the Shield due to the numbers game. The next phase of this feud will play out on the show.
Jack Swagger vs Chris Jericho
This is being billed as a match between the ‘Canadian’ Chris Jericho and the ‘Real American’ Jack Swagger. Wonder how much that will be effective in building Jack Swagger’s character. Though there aren’t any major Wrestlemania implications associated with this contest, it will be interesting to see whether Swagger’s ‘Patriot Lock’ or Jericho’s ‘Wall’s of Jericho’ come into the picture in what will be a very good contest between two wrestlers with great in-ring ability.
Dolph Ziggler to face the wrath of Kane?
‘The big red monster’ Kane will take on ‘the show off’ Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown to try and avenge Ziggler and Big E Langston’s attack on his tag-team partner Daniel Bryan. Earlier this week on Raw, Dolph Ziggler defeated Daniel Bryan in a match and oversaw an attack on him by Big E Langston. Kane, who has had a tumultuous week already with the whole Paul Bearer saga, might vent his anger on Dolph Ziggler during the course of this match. But one has to take into account AJ and Big E’s presence at ringside before predicting the outcome of this contest.
