WWE SmackDown: 5 Surprises that could happen- The Undertaker attacked, Title change

Things will certainly become interesting when The Undertaker visits MSG

WWE RAW had its share of moments, both good and bad, and one wonders what's going to be in store for us on the blue brand. One thing that we know for sure is that it's an MSG show, which means that WWE will be bringing their A-Game.

Plus, The Undertaker is going to show up, and that is always an indicator that something big is going to happen. We saw how Stone Cold kickstarting the show pretty much set the tone for the rest of the program on the red brand.

So what surprises could we see heading into Clash of Champions this weekend, you ask? I don't know the answer but I'm going to speculate and I encourage you to do the same in the comments section right below.

Remember that all eyes are on SmackDown Live ahead of the big move to FOX.

#5 The Fiend attacks The Undertaker

One of the theories, that's doing the rounds with regard to 11:19, the number that Bray Wyatt displayed during the Firefly Fun House pertains to a certain WWE legend. The Undertaker made his debut on 19th of November, and this number is essentially 11:19, right? Like I said only moments ago, The Undertaker will make his big return to SmackDown Live this week at MSG, where a Fiend could be lying in wait!

Wyatt has obviously faced The Undertaker in the past, but this is a new story and a new persona for him. The Undertaker will most likely pass the torch to him, as Mick Foley did too. One wonders if The Undertaker will also pass on one of his moves to Bray Wyatt as well.

Wyatt will certainly have something up his sleeve. The question will be answered soon.

#4 Aleister Black attacks The Undertaker

But then, Bray Wyatt isn't the only supernatural character in WWE right now. In fact, there's a certain not-so-gentleman who sits in a dark room and asks WWE Superstars to knock on his door and challenge him. His name, of course, is Aleister Black, and many have touted him to be a future star.

And someone like him could definitely benefit from a program with The Undertaker. It would be an interesting mix of styles, but Black is a versatile performer and he can suit his own style so that he becomes a formidable opponent for The Undertaker. Win or lose, it would be a massive step up for him.

So, imagine The Undertaker cutting a promo in the middle of the ring when Black's music hits and the world reacts with utter shock. Could it happen on SmackDown? I don't see why it cannot!

#3 Daniel Bryan attacks Roman Reigns

So, last week Rowan revealed that he was no one's puppet and he was acting of his own volition when he attacked Roman Reigns. There was a collective groan that went across the internet upon this pronouncement, where many commented on the fact that Rowan acting by himself was an anticlimax.

Which is why it is always possible that Bryan, who's been feigning innocence, could certainly turn on Roman Reigns. In fact, if he doesn't, Rowan vs. Roman does not really seem like a big match for Clash of Champions.

There's very little that Daniel Bryan can do as a babyface, to be honest, because with Kofi, Roman and Kevin Owens, the babyface side of SmackDown Live is certainly very well stacked indeed. There's a lot more value in keeping him as a heel instead.

Which is why I can totally imagine him blindsiding Roman Reigns and attacking him with Rowan.

#2 R-Truth loses the 24/7 Championship before the pay-per-view

So every Champion has to defend his/her Championship at Clash of Champions 2019. That is pretty much the theme of the show, which means that the 24/7 Championship also has to be defended at the event. While R-Truth may be the Champion, it'll be great to see him chase for the title, to get fans on his side.

Therefore, it would be really cool to insert a new heel into the mix. Maybe someone like Eric Young can potentially pick up the title and have R-Truth chase after him leading straight into the pay-per-view. Maybe EC3 can be inserted into this title picture because anything's better than doing nothing.

And then, maybe Drake Maverick could also contest with the new champion later during the show. It would just shake things up significantly before the pay-per-view, and give viewers another reason to tune in and watch.

#1 RAW Women's Champion shows up on SmackDown Live

So, this week on RAW, Becky Lynch teamed up with Charlotte Flair to take on Sasha Banks and Bayley in a tag team match. It was a fine match, that had its share of botches, but the headline coming out of the contest is that the unlikely duo of Flair and Lynch triumphed.

What we do know for sure is that Banks and Bayley will be a cohesive unit on the blue brand and they'll be looking to blindside The Queen, because Bayley's not averse to using underhanded tactics now. It would be really cool if Lynch runs in and makes the save!

This is only a surprise because while Bayley has often been spotted on RAW, the converse doesn't happen every week. Lynch on SmackDown Live is a rare sighting.

But it's a necessary one to build heat before Clash of Champions 2019.
