When Bray Wyatt posted a picture with a custom Universal Championship on his Twitter account, he must’ve believed he would hold on to the real thing. Two years later, he’s got the whole universe in his hands after winning the Universal Championship from Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel 2019.

It took a complete overhaul of his character for Bray Wyatt to stand in this position. His re-debut as the Fiend has sparked some life back into his career and can help him reach even greater heights in the WWE.

Looking at the way he no-sells the moves of his opponents, we can’t expect him to lose the title soon. But it has to happen at some point, and WWE will already be thinking about the person to dethrone the Fiend. With that said, here are the next five superstars who could get to hold the Universal Championship after Bray Wyatt.

#5 Roman Reigns

The Only Realistic Person Who Can Slay The Fiend?

Whether we like it or not, Roman Reigns has more of a chance than anyone else to dethrone the Fiend to win the Universal Championship. Those who saw the Fiend’s matches with Seth Rollins, and the way he kicked out of Rollins’ finisher multiple times, they would agree that it would take a force of nature to dethrone Wyatt.

WWE has been taking it slow in re-establishing Reigns as the top face of the company as their previous attempt didn't go well with the fans. Since the Big Dog made his return after putting his leukemia in remission, the fans have been on his side, and WWE is wise in taking one step at a time to push him to the top once again.

Roman Reigns is also the only person on the SmackDown roster with the physical build and character required to slay the Fiend. Can we expect Wyatt to hold on to the title until WrestleMania and could lose it to Roman Reigns at the biggest event of the year?

#4 Braun Strowman

The time is near for Braun Strowman to reach the top.

Braun Strowman winning a major singles championship in the WWE has been one of the most unanswered requests of every WWE fan for the past two years. After multiple failed attempts at the Universal Championship, the Monster Among Men started to lose his momentum, but he's regained his composure after his high-profile feud with Tyson Fury.

Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman are the only superstars with the star power to be the faces of the brand. FOX is looking to insert some mass appeal into the product, and a feud between Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman would pull many eyes towards the blue brand.

WWE needs some strong booking to make the feud look special and different from their previous rivalry. A clean win against Roman Reigns can rejuvenate the Monster Among Men's career and establish him as a legitimate star on Friday Night SmackDown.

Despite negative reviews from the WWE Universe, Vince McMahon is still putting Baron Corbin in a significant spot on the shows. WWE brought back the King of the Ring tournament just for the sake of refreshing Corbin's character, and now he calls himself King Corbin.

A superstar can't expect to slay Braun Strowman with strength and would need to use some heelish tactics to overcome the Monster Among Men. King Corbin is the only superstar on SmackDown who can play that role to perfection.

Big men like Strowman never had a long run with a major championship in the WWE, and if history repeats itself, Strowman could also find his name among that list. King Corbin would need some help in overcoming Strowman and looking at the way Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode are working together with him, WWE can use them to help Corbin win the Universal Championship from Strowman.

Will Daniel Bryan revive the Yes Movement?

After being told he can never compete inside a ring again, Daniel Bryan made one of the greatest and unexpected comebacks in the history of pro-wrestling. He became the WWE Champion last year after he turned heel on AJ Styles and walked into WrestleMania with the championship.

It’s been a year since he started calling himself the New Daniel Bryan and putting an end to the Yes Movement. But his recent storyline with Roman Reigns has turned him into a babyface once again. He will now challenge the Fiend for the Universal Championship at Survivor Series, but he might have to wait before he could get his hands on the title.

Going by this list, Daniel Bryan could be the perfect opponent for King Corbin, and with the power of the Yes Movement, he could recreate his WrestleMania 30 moment once again. He could dethrone Corbin despite all odds and win his first Universal Championship.

Who could be a better opponent for Daniel Bryan than The Miz? Both superstars have never seen eye to eye before, and despite being a babyface, The Miz couldn't help taking a dig at Bryan during the Miz TV segment on last week's SmackDown.

The rivalry between these two superstars still has some life left into it, and WWE can capitalize by having the Miz turn heel once again and win the Universal Championship from Daniel Bryan.

It's been nine years since the Miz's last world title run, and he is still waiting to get back into the main event spot once again. Despite holding the record for the most combined days with the Intercontinental Championship, Miz couldn't pull himself out from the mid-card level.

A run with the Universal Championship with Daniel Bryan as his adversary could rejuvenate the Miz's career and also give the fans a chance to see two bitter rivals going at it once again.
