Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with a backstage shot of Roman Reigns, Shorty G, and Mustafa Ali addressing the locker room as they said that they knew they were going to get attacked and that they are opening the doors and letting people in.

Baron Corbin was trying to hold court, but Roman came and took over. Sasha said that she is waiting for no one and wanted to get things underway.

The Women's Team from SmackDown came into the ring and announced that this was their show before they reminded the crowd how they took out NXT last week and during this week's NXT. They sent out a challenge to the RAW Women's Team to come out and face them right now.

Sasha Banks called out Charlotte but they were interrupted by the NXT Women's Team, who also came out. Rhea Ripley called for a Captain vs. Captain vs. Captain match and the teams agreed.

Charlotte and Ripley were squaring off as the match began before Banks was attacked at ringside by the NXT star. Charlotte hit a moonsault to the outside and onto them as we headed for commercials.

The match resumed after the break as Banks was caught in the Figure Eight while Rhea caught them in a pin and got the victory.

After the match, Banks and Flair were mad at each other and that resulted in a RAW vs. SmackDown brawl in the ring as the NXT women watched on.

Backstage, Baron Corbin was talking to Roode & Ziggler and called Sami Zayn annoying after he tried to get in on the conversation. Zayn asked him to face him in the ring but Corbin ignored the challenge.


Still backstage, Bayley was ready to face Shayna head-on.


Nakamura and Zayn were in the ring and Zayn called them both studs before gifting Shinsuke a new Intercontinental title belt. The made fun of Roderick Strong before the Undisputed Era showed up in the ring.

The New Day were out next before challenging the Undisputed Era to a match with Heavy Machinery as their teammates and the NXT boys accepted.

Big E and Strong kicked us off but quick tags were made before Kofi ended up on the chopping block. Big E and Otis almost got into a fight at ringside before we headed for another break.

The NXT team was dominating before Otis tagged in and took them to school. He was going for the caterpillar but Cole was pulled out of the way by his teammates. Tucker took out Strong in the ring and hit a moonsault but Cole broke the pin.

Otis hit the Caterpillar but Strong got the pin after the rest of his team wiped out all four opponents.

Strong and Nakamura came face to face after the match and AJ Styles attacked them both before Sami Zayn took a steel chair to the RAW and NXT champs.

Styles was back after the break and antagonized the audience who were chanting 'CM Punk'. Styles said he would wipe the floor with Punk.


Daniel Bryan was out next and called back on The Miz's words from last week which made him flip out. He called Wyatt to speak face to face with him or even a match before the lights went out. The lights came back on and nothing happened. The Miz came out instead and the two got into a heated argument before he slapped Bryan.

We returned after commercials to see that a match was set up between the two and The Miz was hitting the 'it' kicks on the GOAT.

Bryan hit Yes kicks of his own but before he could finish the match, the lights went out again and The Fiend appeared where Miz was last seen. He hit the Mandible Claw on Bryan before laughing hysterically and then disappeared.

Baszler was out next and called out Bayley. The SmackDown Women's champ attacked her from behind but was caught in a Coquina Clutch. Bayley sent Baszler into the barricades before we moved on with the show.

Roman Reigns, Shorty G & Ali vs. King Corbin, Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler

Reigns and Corbin kicked off the match and Roman came out of the gate with all the offense. Short G was sent over the announce table as the match went on.

Reigns hit the Superman Punch before Ali hit a Tornado DDT on Corbin. Corbin, however, got the pin after a Deep Six.

Reigns hit a spear to Corbin after the match before Seth Rollins invaded the show with his RAW teammates. Seth and Reigns started to fight and a huge brawl broke out as more superstars rushed the ring.

NXT brought their DX jeep along with Road Dogg, HBK, and Triple H as an all-out war broke out in the arena. The cameras cut out as the brawl continued and the show was over.

Some good matches took place in the promo-heavy go-home show. We saw DX return while The Fiend made another shocking appearance.
