The Undertaker had joined forces with The Big Dog Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules to counter the duo of Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. The dream team successfully defeated the heels in the No Holds Barred match and, it seemed like a match between Drew McIntyre and The Undertaker is bound to happen soon.

The rumor that the Undertaker has handpicked Drew McIntyre as his future opponent increased the possibility of this match. Plus, the local advertisements in Toronto promoted this match to happen at The Biggest Party of the Summer which shows that the WWE Creative may have planned this bout.

However, The Dead Man has not appeared on WWE TV since Extreme Rules. Looking at the recent booking decisions, Drew McIntyre may feature in a tag team match, joining hands with Elias to battle Roman Reigns and Cedric Alexander.

Also, Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has recently stated that there are no plans for The Undertaker to appear on the show.
