#5 Shinsuke Nakamura (SmackDown) vs. Roderick Strong (NXT)

Strong and Nakamura competed against each other in ROH before both joining the WWE.

All members of the Undisputed Era would have their matches at Survivor Series. Since Nakamura is the Intercontinental Champion, he'd get a singles bout on the card. The other mid-card Champ, AJ Styles, will be busy elsewhere.

Roderick Strong is one of the best in-ring workers in the world. He makes everyone he faces look good in victory or defeat. Because The Undisputed Era is basically atop NXT, they all need featuring in some way. If Roddy isn't a part of a multi-person match, then he could be pitted against someone from the main roster.

Nakamura is also representing SmackDown and he and Strong would put on a striking clinic. Since there needs to be a balance of wins and losses from both sides, the winner of this match would be up in the air.

Neither man would be defending a title so they wouldn't lose as much lustre by dropping a match. Nakamura did lose last year to Seth Rollins, so maybe it would be the best option to have him get a win here.
