There is no doubt that Triple H was the greatest heel of the Attitude Era, but even when he became a babyface later on in his career, the fact that he was married to the chairman’s daughter and hence the arguments that opportunities were just handed to him on a silver platter, never left him.

Every great hero needs a great villain and during the Attitude Era, he was a great villain to every great hero. Right now he is a heel but when his theme song blares through the arena to “Bow Down to the King”, you will find a substantial amount of people bowing down… to a heel.
