WrestleMania 32 : Early Predictions For the Pay-Per-View

What number comes after 31? 32, and after WrestleMania 31, the fans will be eagerly waiting for next year’s extravaganza. It is extremely early to know what matches the company will bring out for the 32nd edition of the pay-per-view but since the WWE works around on a WrestleMania to WrestleMania basis, we have the right to let our imaginations run wild. The WWE Universe seems to be happy about how WrestleMania 31 turned out and it has set up the mood well for a strong post-WrestleMania period. A lot of things are going to change in the space of one year and before that, here is a look at our fantasy booking for WrestleMania 32.

#7 Andre the Giant Battle Royal

The Andre the Giant battle royal has become a mainstay in WrestleMania and it is sure to make a return next year as well. However, unlike this year, WWE should go out and book the battle royal in such a way to put over some upcoming star in the roster.

With all the new NXT stars coming, the company will have plenty of addition in terms of their roster by WrestleMania 32 and the trick would be to use them properly.

Letting a credible superstar win would restore the actual purpose of the match. Someone like Finn Balor or Sami Zayn would be a great choice to be the winner and WWE should avoid giving names like Kane, Big Show or even Mark Henry a rub in the battle royal.

#6 Paige vs. Charlotte

According to the rumors floating by, the divas division is all set to undergo some big changes. WWE is looking to build up the girls are credible wrestlers and both Paige and Charlotte will be crucial for this. AJ Lee’s career in the WWE might be coming to an end in the near future and it will be the responsibility of these two to keep the clock ticking.

Charlotte’s main roster debut against Natalya was a disaster and WWE will have to bring her back with a bang if this match is to happen. Paige, on the other hand, could go on to build upon her excellent first year.

All these along with some proper time to build up a match, and the girls are bound to steal the show at the granddaddy of them all.

#5 Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena

Daniel Bryan and John Cena won Championships at WrestleMania 31 and will now be the pillars of the midcard. The decision to let these two win gold was a great one from all the perspectives. First of all, the fans will take both the United States and Intercontinental championship seriously with these two in the mix.

Also, the feuds will be of high quality due to the fan following and we are bound to have some meaningful midcard in the post – WrestleMania period. WWE should be able to keep these two away from each other for the following year and should build up a match at next year’s WrestleMania.

As things stand now, Cena and Bryan have had only one major match and cashing in on the opportunity at WrestleMania 32 will surely strike gold for Vince McMahon.

#4 Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

This match deserved a place in this year’s WrestleMania. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose had feud of the year in 2014 and the issues between the former Shield members are still unresolved. The amount of chemistry that these two possess among them is just too damn high and they deserve a stage like WrestleMania to showcase the same.

Rollins is going to get a big push with the WWE championship around his waist and he might go on to have a CM Punk like long reign as well. Bringing in Ambrose into the picture as a ghost from Rollins’ past would be a great idea.

Add in some gimmick into the match and these two could end up giving one of the best matches in WrestleMania history.

#3 Roman Reings vs. Triple H

Roman Reigns’ chance of having a career making moment at WrestleMania came crashing down on March 29, 2015 when Seth Rollins made history with his Money in the bank cash in. Reigns was clearly not ready for being the WWE champion but the amount of effort he put into the match has earned him some respect.

What WWE needs next for Reigns is a credible heel that the fans will find hard to love. And who better to play that role than Hunter and the Authority. WWE did try their hand at this angle a few months back but gave up on the idea for some reason.

Battling an experienced veteran like Triple H could work miracles for the Samoan Superman and it is what he needs to save his career from sinking.

#2 Sting vs. Undertaker

Sting and Undertaker had contrasting outings at WrestleMania. Sting lost out in his debut match in the WWE while Undertaker came out winning against Bray Wyatt. Taker looked way better than how he was a year ago and all of a sudden, the fans will be hoping to see him once again at next year’s WrestleMania.

Sting also looked to be in good condition in his match against Triple H and the dream match between the two legends is still a big possibility. Add in some retirement clause to the whole angle, and it is a sure shot ticket seller.

The only thing standing against the match would be Sting’s contract as we don’t know whether it runs all the way to next WrestleMania or ends in the near future.

#1 Rock vs. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar signing a new contract was probably one of the best things that happened to WWE in recent times. He is an invaluable asset and the company when it comes to big shows and WrestleMania 32 will be just the same.

Lesnar’s opponent for the grand event is the next problem to solve and if we believe the rumors around the block, it could be The Rock. Despite his busy schedule, Rock found time to be at this year’s WrestleMania and he was there for the one last year as well.

If it wasn’t for his fitness, Rock would have competed already. There is a one-year gap for Rock to be in shape for a bout and if everything goes well, we could see Rock vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania 32.
