Not long ago, Shayna Baszler defeated three other women to retain her NXT Women's Championship at NXT TakeOver: New York in front of a sold out crowd. Many had predicted that her reign would come to an end at the show.
Maybe the plan is for her to be brought to the main roster as a Champion. Maybe she and her two evil cohorts help tip the favour in Ronda Rousey's side and help launch a whole Horsewoman vs. Horsewoman feud at WWE WrestleMania 35.
This is the only way I can see the audience at the arena not boo Ronda Rousey and WWE out of the building if the plan is for her to retain the Championship. And this is because they will see that WWE is telling a long-term story.
Maybe this will force Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch to make a truce.
