Welcome to our daily transfer rumours round-up. While most of the outlets are busy talking about Paul Pogba’s confirmed €120m transfer to Manchester United, there are a whole host of other deals nearing completion.

Axel Witsel seems to have agreed personal terms with Inter Milan while Arsenal have zeroed down on Mauro Icardi’s signing this summer.

Elsewhere, Chelsea are linked with a move for Benfica’s 22-year-old defender Victor Lindelof.

On that note, here are the transfer rumours doing the rounds on July 21st.

Serie A

- Leonardo Bonucci is going nowhere this summer, according to reports from Sky Italia. The dominant defender has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester City with Manchester United making a late inquiry for the Juventus man as well.

- AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca has fueled his exit talks once again after the Colombian striker posted his picture on Instagram with a caption saying “new goals, new dreams, new season”. He is strongly linked with a move to West Ham this summer.

- Napoli President has given a new twist to Gonzalo Higuain’s rumoured sale this summer after claiming that not many teams can afford his fee while he did not deny that the player is indeed sticking at Napoli before the start of next season.

Bundesliga

- Mario Gotze has completed his move back to Borussia Dortmund from Bayern Munich after a couple of frustrating seasons at Allianz Arena.

- As per the latest reports, Alen Halilovic has signed for Hamburg on a permanent basis. The Croatian midfielder moves to the Bundesliga for €5 million with Barcelona inserting a buyback clause to his sale as well.

- Wolfsburg have made Jacob Baszczykowski as their key target to replace Andre Schurrle once the German International completes his move to Borussia Dortmund in coming weeks. Bild claims that Baszczykowski fancies Wolfsburg over any other team and will push for the transfer to be completed once he returns from his holidays.

Premier League

- Newcastle United have accepted £25million bid from Liverpool for their star midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. Sky Sports are convinced that the Dutch international will join Liverpool in the next 48 hours.

- Mino Raiola is planning Romelu Lukaku’s return to Chelsea this summer. The Blues have been priced out of a deal for Alvaro Morata and ar eying a move for their formal striker. Everton are expected to hold out on a £65m transfer fee.

- L’Equipe is convinced that Paul Pogba has signed for Manchester United for a reported €120m. French journal reported a story last night claiming that all the details were finalized last night and the deal could be made official in next 2-3 days.

La Liga

- Alvaro Morata has reported for Real Madrid training but Spanish media is still keen in linking the striker with a move to Chelsea this summer. Antonio Conte has refused to rule out a third bid for the striker and is keen to bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer.

- Ciro Immobile has been linked with a move to Lazio this summer. As per the reports from Football Italia, Immobile wants to cut short his time in Spain and return to Italy. Lazio are prepared to pay €2 million for a one-year loan deal with a compulsory €8m purchase at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

- Arda Turan’s future is still unclear after no team has come up with any sort of bid for the player. Barcelona have demanded €20m for the Turkish International with Arsenal and Chelsea linked with the former Atletico Madrid star.

Rest of Europe

PSG is not interested in tending to any offers for Marquinhos

- PSG have refused to sell Marquinhos to Barcelona this summer regardless of the money being offered. PSG see the Brazilian as their long-term successor to Thiago Silva and new manager Unay Emery has turned down any inquiry from Barcelona in recent weeks.

- Spain have confirmed the appointment of Julen Lopetegui as their new national team head coach. The former Porto boss replaces Vicente del Bosque, who resgined from his post after a forgettable Euro 2016 campaign where they lost to Italy in the round of 16.

- PSG have made a formal enquiry in to Bastian Schweinsteiger’s availability, according to reports from French Football. The deal could cost the French Champions close to €14million as Jose Mourinho is keen to to make way for Pogba’s arrival.
