Title Changes we are Bound to see at WrestleMania XXX

Titles in WWE never takes centre stage during the weekly shows but once a pay-per-view arrives, the creative are always puzzled with the question of which titles should continue its run and which should change hands. And if that pay-per-view is as big as WrestleMania, the headache gets magnified that much higher.Fans have started to buzz about the decisions in the pipeline and the titles are getting into the limelight. Though all the live titles in the promotion will not change hands at WrestleMania there are some certain champions who could walk out without the gold in their hands. So here is a look at how champions could fare at the grand stage of them all.

#5 Keeps: The United States Championship

Once of the least utilized titles in WWE, the US title is being wasted on a main event talent like Dean Ambrose. The purpose of the title should be to give the midcarders a push like WWE did with John Cena in his starting days.

But now, due to the significance of Shield in the roster, the US title is having no value whatsoever.

And from the looks of it, the title will not be defended in WrestleMania due to the high profile booking that Shield will get unless Dean Ambrose drops the title before the pay-per-view.

A new champion before WrestleMania is the only way to make this title relevant and even if that happens, the new champion is going to retain the title meaning that we are not going to see the united state title change hands at the legendary stage.

#4 Keeps: Tag Team Championship

Making the Usos win the tag team title was a bad decision on various grounds. First of all, Rikishi’s sons deserved a bigger stage to win the title and the New Age Outlaws was being wasted after they dropped the title.

And now to fill in the Outlaws the company have decided to put them up against Shield which makes the triple threat match among the shield a mere dream.

With that said the Usos are champions nevertheless and will be having three other teams breathing down their throat at Mania. Though no match has been booked yet, the Real Americans, Rybaxel and the Rhodes Brothers will be getting their share but since Usos just won the title they are unlikely to drop it soon.

The match would be somewhat predictable if it happens and the predictability will just be another after effect of making the Usos win so early.

#3 Drops: Divas Title

AJ Lee has been reigning as the lone wolf in a division full of sheep for so long now. and there isn’t any one worthy of keeping the title other than her to be precise.

But if the company wants to get some life into the division, they need to make AJ drop the title. Though Emma has the skills to hold the title, she is still miles away from that championship push. And Paige who could carry a title in style is stuck in development as well.

Natalya will be another worthy challenger as the lights of Bella Twins and Funkadactyls will just make the title less valuable.

Tamina will be the dark horse to take the title home as she will be the most intriguing opponent for AJ. And after the friction they two had recently the match seems well on the cards. Whatever happens, AJ will be having a tough time to keep that gold around her well-toned waist.

#2 Keeps: The Intercontinental title

Big E’s involvement in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal slims down the chances of him defending his title but since WrestleMania is a big event spanning over four hours, Big E might be called in to defend his title later that night.

However, one of the most confusing things about that would be the choice of opponent. Midcarders like Damien Sandow, Fandango and many others have already had their shot at the title and picking someone from that list won’t be an easy task.

Wade Barrett or Miz will be an interesting and fresh choice to face Big E. But no matter who the creative decides to put Big E up against, the champion will walk out of WrestleMania with the title because, and he still has a lot to give to that title.

#1 Drops: The WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Randy Orton has only been a duck champion no matter how big the company projects him to be. He doesn’t have the viciousness that he used to have and is not someone who could carry both the title.

This opens the door for Orton to drop his title at WrestleMania in the triple threat match that is sure to happen.

The only question which will now remain is who will be the next champion. From the three possible winners, Triple H might be the least threat to the title as he would have to lose against Bryan to keep the show entertaining till the end.

And from Batista and Bryan, the fans would clearly want Bryan to win but the company will be looking to give Batista another run since he’s been finding his foot with the heel run. Batista is available to WWE till August as well which makes sense.

Whoever wins, Orton will be walking out of WrestleMania empty handed as the biggest loser.
