Iowa is all set to open September in style as the WWE will be making their first stop of the month in the city for Monday Night Raw.Last week, the show belonged to a certain John Cena who as showing transformations that many wouldn’t have expected from him. Apart from the Cenation leader, there were developments to almost all the main angles in the company as well.The work however is far from over as there is a lot of things that the company needs to sort out before Night of Champions as only two matches is made for the pay-per-view so far.Without any doubt NOC will be a crucial pay-per-view for WWE right now and here is a look at what all they could do at the latest edition of Raw to make sure that the WWE Universe is tuned into the Network when NOC starts rolling.
#5 The Monster that fell
Wyatt Family from the moment they stepped foot into WWE was projected as monsters who always had the upper hand over their opponents until last week.
Bray was nothing more than a punching bag for Cena while Erick Rowan and Luke Harper is having a losing streak at this moment. The latter two have been giving consistent matches whenever they are given the opportunity, but are still missing a good win.
The Jericho angle reportedly isn’t over yet meaning that the company might be bringing back the veteran to help Bray get back into the limelight.
It was a big fall that Bray had last week and the writers should do something equally big if they don’t want him to end up like an ordinary midcarder.
#4 Sisters who cant act
The Bellas are two divas who weren’t known for their in ring skills nor their acting ability. They were nothing more than mediocre in ring workers while drew many criticism for the segments that were pulled off.
When Brie had an angle against Stephanie, there weren’t many questions raised as the McMahon girl was good enough to cover up for the limitation that Brie had.
This isn’t the case however when it comes to the Bellas. The absence of Stephanie in the middle is exposing all the short comings of the twin sisters.
Despite being booked as a big angle, this has all the potential to doom and is a matter that the company should address at the earliest.
#3 It gets weirder and weirder
AJ Lee and Paige have been running the top feud in WWE for a few months now and the best part about this is that, it gets weirder as weeks pass by.
Initially after AJ’s return, the company tried to push her as a face which wasn’t something that fans appreciated. The creative rose up to the occasion suddenly and let AJ take up the character that she was more suited to.
Two crazy girls doing crazy stuff is keeping the curiosity levels right up there in the top. Last week, AJ without any reluctance ate a chocolate that Paige spat out meaning that this week something more ridiculous could happen.
However, as far as the angle is revolving around these two beautiful girls, there wouldn’t be many complaints from the fan base.
#2 Ghost of the Shield past
After Rollins turned on his Shield teammates, both Reigns and Ambrose was out to make Rollins pay. Reigns got sidetracked at some point and earned a handful of criticism while Ambrose was projected as the man who really cared about relationships.
Now that Ambrose will be missing WWE for the film project, it has opened the door for Reigns to rectify the mistakes that he did.
Rollins on the other hand has some extra help from the Authority. Kane in particular have been involved heavily with Rollins making many wonder whether the two have fallen in love or something.
Randy Orton’s future is also a mystery right now and these two questions need to be answered when WWE rolls out another episode of Raw.
#1 Aggressive Cena + Lesnar Videos = Killer Combo
One of the biggest concerns that WWE had heading to the match between Cena and Lesnar at SummerSlam was superstars being absent every now and then.
The match that the two had at SummerSlam however, blew away all those concerns and turned this feud into one of the hottest angle in professional wrestling.
There is an emotionally packed story that the company is telling right now and has managed to invest the fans as well. Last week, Cena with his aggression and Lesnar with his video package gave chilling progression to the angle.
The WWE Universe wouldn’t mind another week being pushed forward like this as it was too good to confine to just one week.
