Attack on Titan's story, alongside Eren Yeager's character, his motivations, and overall character arc, has been one of the most debated and highly discussed topics within the anime and manga fandoms.
Although discussions about the morality of the series remain a contested topic, Eren's entire monologue from the series' final episode of season 3 is often cited as the main turning point for the story.
Recently, the voice of Eren Yeager shared a photograph, recreating Eren's iconic season 3 scene. This made many fans reminisce about the series' popularity and lasting impact, even years after its conclusion in 2021.

Attack on Titan: Eren's Voice actor recreates the series' most pivotal moment ever
Yuki Kaji, the voice actor of Eren Yeager and Shouto Todoroki, recently posted a photograph of himself standing on a beach. He was imitating Eren's iconic scene where he began his crusade against Marley.
Although the series' fandom activity and popularity had declined since the conclusion of its anime adaptation and manga, Yuki Kaji's post managed to practically unite the fandom under one post. Fans commended how Attack on Titan managed to make beaches into a pilgrimage site for the series' fans.
Fan reaction to Yuki Kaji's post
A few fans commented on how the series' followers often recreate Eren's iconic ocean scene every time they visit a beach. They hinted at a more metaphysical connection with Eren's earlier character, who helmed the story for years.
A few other fans jokingly mentioned how Yuki Kaji's post simply proves that he hasn't moved on from the series, much like many of the fans.
One fan also remarked how the series has managed to turn the beaches into actual pilgrimage sites for the fans. This is similar to how the Fate series made King Arthur's grave in Glastonbury into a pilgrimage site for fans who weren't even acquainted with the real-life legend of King Arthur.
"He still hasn't moved on from aot (just like me)." One fan said.
"AOT and Fate have somehow managed to make actual pilgrim sites for their fans." Another fan said.
"Everytime I go to a beach I do this lol." Another fan chimed in.
Several fans also mentioned how Eren's monologue in the final of the series' season 3 is arguably one of the most well-done monologues. They claimed that it was one of the most memorable sequences within the entire series.
"My favourite monologue of all time." Another fan mentioned.
Attack on Titan series concluded its manga in 2021, with the anime following suit in 2023. The series currently stands at a total of 139 chapters and four anime seasons spanning across 94 episodes.
Although the series' overall popularity has dwindled in recent years, its impact and contribution in pushing anime's presence into mainstream media remain unquestionable.
