With the release of Black Clover chapter 359, fans got to witness Noelle reveal her new Valkyrie Armor as she prepares to fight her mother, Acier Silva. While the Silver Eagles, including their captain Nozel Silva, Noelle stepped up with a new ability as she hoped to surpass the paladin.
The previous chapter saw Mereoleona fight Morris relentlessly, but she was at a disadvantage. That's when the Crimson Lions shielded her from the Paladin's attacks, sacrificing themselves. In response, Mereoleona activated her new ability, hoping to burn Morris to ashes.

Black Clover chapter 359: Noelle steps up on the battlefield
Black Clover chapter 359, titled The Dancing Princess of the Battlefield Returns, opened with Acier Silva defeating her eldest son Nozel Silva. While she could see that he had grown stronger, it still wasn't enough for him to defeat her. As for Solid and Nebra, Acier felt that they could have gotten stronger. However, their pride and hatred warped their strength and spirits.
Upon witnessing the difference in strength, Solid was thinking of submitting to her and being reborn in Lucius's world when Noelle Silva arrived on the battlefield. It was the first time Acier was seeing Noelle all grown up, but she could recognize her due to how identical they looked.
Acier asked Noelle to submit to Lucius so that they could live together. While Noelle herself had only seen her mother as a soul during her fight against Megicula, she could understand that she wasn't the same, and she thus prepared to stop her. That's when Nozel thought of how Noelle, despite becoming strong, could no longer go Saint Stage, making it a tough battle for her.
Black Clover chapter 359 then focused on a flashback as Noelle was shown to be depressed about Asta's status. Despite becoming stronger, she could no longer use Saint Stage, which made her weak when compared to an enemy as strong as Lucius. Hence, she could not save Asta when he was attacked. However, Noelle believed that Asta was alive and that she needed to protect the Clover Kingdom till Asta returned.
That's when Kahono arrived to get Noelle's help with something awful that happened at the Underwater Temple. As they reached the temple, Kahono and Kiato led Noelle to a dragon, which left Noelle perplexed. Kahono then described how the dragon was the Sea God. As per the lore, the Sea God was set to wake up from its long slumber when the end of the world was near. Hence, it had woken up, searching for a strong partner.
Given that Noelle could assimilate a power similar to spirits and was an exceptional water mage, Kahono believed she was the right candidate. As the Black Clover chapter 359 focused back on the fight on Judgment Day, Noelle was seen with the Sea God Leviathan, as she had formed a contract with the dragon.
While Kahono and Kiato joined the fight, Noelle started assimilating the dragon's power into her Valkyrie Armor. Thus, she was able to attain a new form - Valkyrie Armor: Dragon Form as she prepared to surpass her mother and defeat her. As for Acier, she felt proud of Noelle, considering how strong she had become.
