Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 9, released on April 19, 2024, left fans surprised with Kurama's return, sparking speculation about the emergence of a Naruto 2.0 in the form of Himawari.

Since Hinata's reveal as Kurama's next jinchuriki, fans have speculated various fates for her, all revolving around her being the wielder of a chakra similar to the previous jinchuriki of the nine-tails, Naruto Uzumaki. But with Hinata already having the powers of the Byakugan, could her chakra cloak, which Naruto achieved after controlling Kurama's power, be of the same color?

In this article, it will be speculated as to how Himawari could be the Naruto 2.0 of the Boruto series and what changes she could undergo in the upcoming chapters as the next jinchuriki of the nine-tails.

Why Himawari could be the Naruto 2.0 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex?

According to chapter 9, the chapter started with Jura and Hidari coming across Himawari after following the nine-tails chakra. The InoShikaCho group tried their best to keep Himawari safe from the God Trees as they had a little chitchat with each other.

Meanwhile, Boruto returned to the Hidden Leaf Village after Koji informed him about the God Trees's invasion. Coincidentally, the protagonist crossed paths with Kawaki as soon as he entered the village. Kawaki tried to attack the protagonist but was outdone, miserable, and mocked for not training in the past four years.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 9 later showcased Himawari and the InoShikaCho group running from the God Trees after Jura tried to kill Himawari with a Tailed-Beast bomb. While they were fleeing, Himawari was transported to the tailed-beast mental plane, where she met a baby Kurama.

As the tailed-beast mental plane was only accessible to jinchurikis and the tailed-beasts, Himawari was confirmed as the next jinchuriki of the nine-tails. As the jinchuriki of a tailed beast, Himawari could also learn how to control its chakra, just like Naruto did with the help of Killer Bee.

As the baby Kurama acted pretty familiar with Himawari in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 9, there could be a chance that Kurama remembered his past life as Naruto's jinchuriki, so Himawari learning to control Kurama's chakra wouldn't be that hard. This could make her the Naruto 2.0 of the Boruto series and also give her a similar cloak to Naruto after he achieved control over Kurama.

With Himawari the new jinchuriki of Kurama, fans have speculated what color her cloak could be after mastering its chakra. Naruto got his cloak color (orange) from a mix of Kurama's chakra and his Sage mode. Naruto's cloak turned red in baryon mode as he only used Kurama's chakra.

To speculate on Himawari's cloak color, some fans have considered Hinata's cloak in the Last Naruto movie, which displayed a purplish cloak due to her Byakugan powers. Combining her purplish cloak with the red color of Baryon mode could give Himawari's cloak a reddish-brown color.
