One Piece chapter 1113 will be released on April 29, 2024. The spoilers of this chapter could be one of the most adrenaline-rushing ones the series has received yet, as fans finally got to hear something eerie about the world of One Piece.

The spoilers for this chapter saw Vegapunk revealing the 'truth of the world,' and he added that the Grand Line would sink underwater. Fans speculated how this genius person deducted such a strange future for the Grand Line despite being dead.

It turns out this could be related to the person Vegapunk's character could be based upon, who was, arguably, the most famous physicist in history. His time-space theory could relate well to how Vegapunk saw the future to predict it in front of Grand Line's audience.

According to the spoilers of this chapter, the chapter started with Saint Mars finding Vegapunk's brain preserved inside of a tank, which made the Gorosei skeptical of whether it was alive or not after the death of the physical body. The Gorosei destroyed the Transponder Snail present at the sight, thinking it could be the source of Vegapunk's transmission. However, he was fooled.

The focus shifted towards Bonney, cornered by Saint Nusjurro in the previous chapter. Fortunately, Sanji arrived in the nick of time and saved Bonney by kicking the Gorosei. Nusjuro tried to fight back but was stopped by the giants Oimo and Kashii.

On Nami's side, Saint Saturn made his entry, and Robin froze up after seeing him as she remembered him from the Ohara incident. The Straw Hats present there acted in a hurry, with Brook and Usopp taking care of Saint Saturn, and Nami fled with Robin using Zeus. The other Gorosei were devising a plan to take out Egghead but decided not to as this would waste the Mother Flame.

The scene goes back to the screens where Vegapunk started his stream in front of the Grand Line, which people from all Blues witnessed. He started by proclaiming that he had committed two crimes, which would become the cause of his death, so he programmed this stream to activate once his physical body (Stella) died.

Finally, he starts to reveal the 'truth of the world,' revealing the conclusion of his talk first, which is that the world will sink into the ocean. He didn't reveal anything about how this could happen, and the chapter ended with a panel of mermaids and whales.

Dr. Vegapunk could be inspired by the world-famous physicist and scientist, Albert Einstein. He became known for his theory of relativity, which changed the world of physics and other related fields.

The theory can be defined as time and space are relative to each other, which means that if a person is moving fast, his time could move slowly, and vice versa. Relating these to Vegapunk's first appearance in the series could make sense as he was stuck inside the ground. He was warping through space-time, which Einstein's theory termed as a wormhole.

A wormhole is a hypothetical structure connecting two distant points in different spaces (dimensions) or times (past/future). So, Vegapunk could know about the Grand Line sinking into the ocean because he could have traveled into the future and seen it himself.

Moreover, this could also be a warning from him because his stream could be from the future. Vegapunk could also be planning something against the World Government by declaring such a strange event.

Final thoughts

In the previous chapters, after Imu destroyed the Lulusia Kingdom and it vanished from the face of the Grand Line, it was reported that the sea levels would rise in the future, which Vegapunk could have done through basic deduction.

Einstein was a person who didn't make any discoveries because the world he saw was different as compared to a lay person, so, Vegapunk could also be the same. Take this article with a grain of salt and wait for the official confirmation in the next chapter.
