I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! episode 10 begins with the Guide's return, and it focuses on a girl standing in a bakery queue. She yearns for a Papaya Mango Croissant, but as the queue gets smaller, all hope is lost—everybody before her orders the same item.

When the croissants get exhausted, her grief reaches its highest point, satisfying the Guide that feeds on bad feelings. But then the bakery unexpectedly produces a new batch. The girl's happiness is immediate, leaving the Guide again disappointed.

Later, Brian is shaken upon learning the Goaz Pirates have declared war. He becomes panicked, fearing that everything they rebuilt is in danger. Amagi, level-headed and logical, reminds him that Liam never does anything without reason. While she explains their chances are slim, she refuses to surrender, recalling Goaz's violent history of conquests. It's clear the stakes are high and that their enemies will be merciless.

Liam, however, remains just as quirky as ever. He says the coming war is a "bonus stage" to gain treasure and reputation. The Guide mentions that Liam still has not matured from his past existence. More troubling, however, is the fact that Goaz's hidden strength—that he's being backed by a mysterious sponsor, whose forces are close to the size of the Imperial Army.

As Liam's forces go into battle, Goaz raises the stakes. He posts a huge reward to whoever brings Liam in alive. Although his officers are nervous about Liam's relaxed attitude, they still have confidence in him. The actual danger materializes all too soon—500 reinforcements, once soldiers turned Goaz supporters, show up during the battle.

At the worst possible moment, Liam sets a trap. He's laid down mines, making Goaz have to lose his own men in order to get through. It's a vicious numbers game of nerves.

With Goaz's shield fleet moving forward, Liam will not sacrifice his allies like his enemy. Rather, goes out with Avid, his mobile knight, and Amagi as acting commander. Over protests, Liam moves into battle. Goaz's response is to send his top mobile knights, but Liam's fighting prowess is too much. He dodges through the enemy with efficiency and speed, though damage to Avid becomes evident.

While this is going on, Amagi sees an opening in the enemy ships that they can attack. She leads a head-on charge with their main ship vessel, cutting through the pirates with merciless precision. As Liam battles one of Goaz's best knights in hand-to-hand combat, he employs his Way of the Flash method to emerge victorious.

As Liam becomes surrounded, the tide starts to turn. Christina Rosebreia reappears on the field, in spite of not being completely healed. Her surprise return mesmerizes Amagi and revives the spirit of the crew.

Christina's reasons are evident—she's alive only thanks to Liam and will not idle by. With her in the battle once more, Liam's Rocket Punch gathers strength, slamming into the pirate with annihilating force. The battle, which seemed to be slipping away, starts turning in their direction.
