Brief episode recap
I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! episode 10 starts again with the Guide, a regular visitor whose job is to reap negative emotions. This episode, he's after a little girl waiting in a very long line, nervously hoping to purchase a Papaya Mango Croissant.
When she sees everyone else purchasing the same thing, there's doubt—what if there's nothing for her?
Sure enough, the croissants are sold out just ahead of her turn, fuelling the very despair the Guide lives off. But just when the Guide is enjoying her disappointment, the bakery brings out a new batch unexpectedly.
Her happiness returns immediately, and the Guide's joy at negativity proves fleeting.
I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! episode 10 then gets dark. Brian, stressed out, freaks out when he hears that the Goaz Pirates have made a declaration against them.
He laments how their regained ground is now threatened with utter destruction. Amagi, however, keeps his cool. She promises Brian that Liam is not mistaken about his plan.

When Brian mentions her previous argument that they have a narrow margin of victory, Amagi concedes that's the case—but surrendering is even worse. Going by the history of Goaz's exploits, surrendering would mean destruction.
To resist, even with slim chances, is still preferable. This exchange raises the stakes and establishes how ruthless their enemy is.
I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! episode 10 shows Liam responding in his typical unconventional manner.
He appears more than happy to fight Goaz, referring to it as a bonus stage where he gets to gain glory, treasure, and reputation. The Guide, observing from afar, mocks Liam's misplaced optimism.
He reflects the fact that Liam has not learned a single thing from his previous life and still charges headlong without regard.
The Guide makes a haunting warning—Goaz is not only a pirate but is also supported by some unknown source of funds and works on a level almost comparable to the Imperial Army.

The war has now started in I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! episode 10, as Liam's army marches towards the enemy. Goaz, impressed with Liam's boldness, doubles the reward to anyone who manages to capture him alive.
For Liam, his military commanders are surprised at how recklessly their lord is acting, but they respect his confidence. Liam, meanwhile, disregards their warnings, treating the war as a game in which everything—victory and wealth—is possible.
Soon, events begin to spiral out of control. One of Liam's officers points out that they are already at a disadvantage because there are so many enemy forces.
Worse, 500 more ships suddenly show up above them. These are not pirates but soldiers who previously surrendered to the pirate fleet.
Goaz seizes the moment when Liam retreats and charges full speed ahead—only to find himself trapped.
Liam has seeded mines along the approach route, and Goaz, ruthless and logical, commands some of his own ships to commit themselves as sacrifices to clear the way.

With the pirates sending a shield fleet covering their vanguard, Liam's officers suggest the same, even at the cost of allies. Liam is in fierce disagreement. He will not employ such a harsh strategy and sets out to send Avid, his own mobile knight.
In spite of the caution against the risk of entering the battlefield himself, Liam names Amagi as the commander and sets off in Avid.
Goaz, seeing Liam's mobile knight, commands a head-on attack. Liam dodges all attacks with skill, employing evasive maneuvers as well as aid from his fleet to disrupt the enemy.
Goaz reacts by deploying his mobile knights. In repeated fierce battles, Liam displays his fighting ability and quickly slices the enemy troops using his sword skills.
Amagi then spots an opportunity to breach. She resolutely chooses to slice straight through the enemy fleet with their main ship as the spearhead.
Meanwhile, Liam has a hard time battling against one of the pirates in a duel—a pirate mobile knight who is tougher than anticipated.
Nevertheless, Liam dispatches the duel very quickly with his Way of the Flash attack, although he learns that one of Avid's actuators has been damaged in the heat of battle.
I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! episode 10 closing event shows Christina arriving at the battlefield

Surrounded and outnumbered, Liam readies himself for a rough conclusion. That's when Christina Leta Rosebreia, still not fully recovered, re-emerges onto the battlefield to rescue him.
Her sudden reappearance catches Amagi off guard, who is informed by the lab assistant that Christina couldn't help but fight for Liam.
I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! episode 10 shows that Christina had always longed to repay him for having saved her life. Liam, observing Christina excelling in combat, chuckles as he lands a devastating Rocket Punch upon the pirate fleet.
Her presence infuses the attack with a much-needed boost, allowing the squad to gain an advantage as the momentum shifts.
