I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince episode 4 began with Sylpha, Lloyd, and Albert riding through town to a nearby forest, looking for monsters to test Lloyd’s weapons on. They were then attacked, and Lloyd explained that his new Qi techniques allowed him to sense them early. On cue, Tao appeared, immediately clashing personalities with Sylpha. She then joined them at the lake, where everyone introduced themselves.

Sylpha and Tao then clashed over Lloyd later that night, while Albert commented on how they both looked at him the way a woman would look at a man. Tao then revealed she was hired to fix a nearby shrine, with Albert suggesting they work together. However, they were soon interrupted by the arrival of the monster they came out there to face. As Tao and the others dealt with the monster, Grim revealed that a demon was sealed in the nearby shrine, forcing the monster to resurrect.

The demon then revealed itself as Pazuzu, promising to kill them all. Grim also explained that Pazuzu was using his mana to control the monsters, as well as constantly regenerating them. Pazuzu then insulted Lloyd, which enraged Sylpha to the point of easily dealing with Pazuzu. Grim, meanwhile, taught Lloyd how to transmute his mana. The episode ended with Pazuzu being all but defeated thanks to Sylpha’s efforts and Lloyd’s mana transmutation.

With Pazuzu not quite defeated in the previous installment, I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince episode 5 should see him mount something of a comeback in the next episode. The preview further shows Pazuzu teasing that both Sylpha and Tao will somehow come under his control.

However, with Lloyd there, episode 5 should quickly see the situation swing back in his and Albert’s favor, with the two working together to defeat Pazuzu. The episode will likely end with Tao finally recognizing Lloyd as Robert, earning him a talking-to from Albert and Sylpha both.
