The final fight against All For One in My Hero Academia finally came to a decisive and spectacular end in chapter 423 of the manga, as Deku, with the combined power of both Heroes and Villains, managed to defeat the Demon Lord once and for all.

My Hero Academia's Final War arc has officially reached a definitive conclusion after 80 long chapters, as the culmination of efforts of the entire Hero society finally brought down the despicable villain. The recently released chapter 423 of the manga saw the biggest Hero-Villain team-up in recent history against All For One.

My Hero Academia chapter 423: Heroes and Villains band together to put an end to All For One

The entirety of the Hero society has been engaged in a never-ending battle against Tomura Shigaraki, All For One, and the rest of the Villains for all this time in the manga. However, the tide slowly shifted in favor of the Heroes after All For One's initial defeat and Shigaraki's hatred being vanquished by Deku. This resulted in the Demon Lord reappearing in Shigaraki's body as a vestige and taking over him.

Although Deku was initially fighting against the villain all by himself, he was eventually joined by his friends and the entirety of the Hero society, who banded together to try and end All For One once and for all.

Each of the Heroes fought desperately to clear a path for Deku to reach All For One, as civilians from all over the world rallied behind the Heroes to do their best. Everyone's thoughts and prayers ended up being answered, as one by one, all of Deku's friends helped him make his way to All For One.

In one of the most memorable moments of My Hero Academia chapter 423, All For One's body started crumbling after Deku's first punch, which was then revealed to be due to Shigaraki's frail body not being able to handle the accumulated power of One For All. However, All For One refused to die so easily, as he used the rest of his Quirks to hold on to his life.

Just as he started approaching Deku, All For One was interrupted by Kurogiri, who created a portal between the two and asked him to give Shigaraki back. Following this, Bakugo made an appearance and used his explosions to propel Deku toward All For One.

Immediately after Deku landed his final punch on All For One, it was revealed that the former had transferred the final ember of One For All into the latter's body, which turned out to be fragments of Yoichi Shigaraki himself.

In the vestige world, Yoichi apologized to his brother for not being able to guide him in the right direction and told him that it was time for him to finally pay for his crimes. After this, all the One For All vestiges along with Tomura Shigaraki came out of the shadows and combined their forces with Deku to punch All For One's vestige, which marked the end of the Demon Lord.

The chapter concluded with Shigaraki's body crumbling into dust due to Deku's final punch. The rain finally stopped and the sun shone brightly on the battlefield, signaling the Hero society's triumph over the Villains.

That said, All For One's defeat was a result of a combination of efforts from both Heroes and Villains, with Kurogiri and Shigaraki being the shining examples of Villains who were able to overcome their darkness and redeem themselves in the end.
