Clevatess anime confirms July 2025 release date, ending theme, and additional cast with new PV

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the official website and X account of Clevatess anime unveiled a new promotional video. The short clip revealed the show's July 2, 2025, release date, additional cast, and the ending theme song by the British pop singer Ellie Goulding.

Under the production of Lay-Duce, Clevatess anime is based on the original manga series, Clevatess - The King of Magical Beasts, the Baby, and the Corpse Hero, written and illustrated by Yuji Iwahara. The manga has been serialized on Line Digital Frontier's Line Manga online service since August 2020. The series is also published on the Comic Alive+ site.

Clevatess anime's new trailer reveals more cast, July 2, 2025 premiere, and previews ending theme songs

According to the third promotional video from Kadokawa, Clevatess anime will air its episodes on AT-X every Wednesday at 8:30 pm JST from July 2, 2025. Following this, the series will run on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS NTV, Fukushima TV, TV Yamanashi, Iwate Broadcasting, TV Aichi, Nagano Broadcasting Systems, Akita Asahi Broadcasting, and other channels.

The anime will also be available on digital streaming sites like d Anime Store, Anime Hodai, and U-NEXT from July 2, 2025. Additionally, it will stream on Ryukyu Broadcasting and Tulip TV on July 3, 2025, and on Fukui TV, Kagoshima TV, and TV-U Yamagata on July 5, 2025.

The third PV showcases new characters who will appear in the series. The video also features Alicia, who fights with the Crimson Sword to expand the world. Moroever, the short clip previews the opening theme, Ruler, by Mayu Maeshima, and the ending theme, Destiny, by the British pop singer Ellie Goulding.

Additional cast members for the Clevatess anime include Aoi Yuki as Neruru, Hiroki Yasumoto as Dorel, Shigeru Chiba as Broco, Chiharu Shigematsu as Maynard, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Naie, Mio Tanaka as Margo, and Tomokazu Seki as Rodd.

The previously announced cast members are: Haruka Shiraishi as Alicia, Saya Aizawa as Luna, Mutsumi Tamura as Clen, Yuichi Nakamura as Clevatess, Jun Hashizume as the King of Haiden, Mamoru Miyano as Stefan, Kenta Miyake as Holgas, Yuki Ono as Mirlo, Yohei Uchida as Katz, Yohei Azakami as Mudo, and Shimba Tsuchiya as Minark.

Kiyotaka Taguchi directs the dark fantasy anime at Lay-Duce, with Keigo Koyanagi handling the series script. Souichiro Sako serves as the show's character designer, while Nobuaki Nobusawa is the music composer.

The Clevatess anime centers on Alicia, who has always aspired to become a hero since childhood. One day, the King chooses her as one of the 13 heroes for a mission.

Wielding the legendary blades, the heroes set out on a quest to subjugate the lord of magical beasts, Clevatess. However, their actions bring calamity to the realm. Interestingly, the world's final hope lies in a baby named Luna, entrusted to Clevatess.
