Married Women's Lips Taste Like a Can of Chuhai anime reveals July 2025 release date and opening theme

On Friday, June 6, 2025, the official staff unveiled a new promotional video, confirming the July 2, 2025 release date for Married Women's Lips Taste Like a Can of Chuhai anime. The staff also revealed details concerning the series' opening theme song.

Produced by raiose, Married Women's Lips Taste Like a Can of Chuhai anime is an adaptation of the manga series by author Chinjao Musume and illustrator Tama Nogami. The manga has been serialized on Kodansha's YanManga Web service since February 2021, with 22 volumes released thus far.

On Friday, June 6, 2025, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for the series shared a new promotional video for the same. According to the short clip, Married Women's Lips Taste Like a Can of Chuhai anime will air every Wednesday at 1 am JST, from July 2, 2025 (stylized as Tuesday, June 1, 2025, at 25:00 JST) on Tokyo MX.

The series will also broadcast on BS11 on July 7, 2025, at 1:10 am JST. Furthermore, the Deregula version with uncensored and extended moments will stream exclusively on AnimeFesta in Japan, starting July 1, 2025.

WWWave Corporation will also release the ecchi anime's Blu-ray and DVD on November 26, 2025. The DVDs will feature the episodes in Deregula version and an OVA titled Yui Koriyama: What Comes After.

The latest promotional video features Yui Koriyama and Tsuyoshi's bold moments and showcases their intimate bond. Additionally, the staff revealed that Uzuho will perform the opening theme, Can't You High!?

Married Women's Lips Taste Like a Can of Chuhai anime will have a broadcast/censored edition and an uncensored, Deregula edition. The series stars Yakahide Ishii and Men Kaido (Deregula) as Tsuyoshi, while Shiho Kawaragi and Miyu Anno (Deregula) lend their voice to Yui Koriyama. Madoka Asahina and Kokko Mikazuki (Deregula) play Ai Natsuno's role, while Yuka Nukui and Momono Mogi (Deregula) voice Miki Kanzaki.

Hajime Keima is in charge of the series' direction and script supervision at Studio raiose, with Yoriko Karei as the character designer and color artist. Tomohiro Hayashi handles the photography direction, while Fumihiko Odera is the sound director. Yutaka Aota is the show's art director.

Based on the manga, the series follows the story of a 22-year-old university student, Tsuyoshi, who loves to drink strong canned Chuhai. Living in his apartment, Tsuyoshi gets entangled in relationships with Yui Koriyama and other married women. The series will thus explore the boy's risqué affairs with multiple women.
