After 9 years of plying my trade in the event management industry and missing out numerous UFC PPV's I decided to finally take the writing plunge.

Watched season 1 of The Ultimate Fighter episode by episode way back when on AXN (yeah, I'm that old) and fell in love with the sport. Diego Sanchez was not a 'Nightmare' for me and I have since loved Forrest Griffin more than Forrest Gump.

And while I did try and train in the sport (2 sessions still counts as an attempt) I decided that watching from a safe distance is much more suitable for me.

Hoping to see an Indian champion in the UFC someday, sooner rather than later.
