Donnie Glen Lee Freeman is a collegiate basketball forward for the Syracuse Orange in the Atlantic Coast Conference. He attended St. John's College and IMG Academy high school. During his career at St. John's College, he averaged 21.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game for three years. He also led his team to win the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) tournament championship in 2023. Additionally, he was named First Team All-WCAC, First Team All-DC and First Team All-Met. At IMG Academy where he was coached by Sean McAloon, the player was rated sixth in the 2024 Class by ESPN.com and on3.com, as per Syracuse's official website.

Freeman was selected to take part in the all-star competition after his selection to the Allen Iverson Roundball Classic All-America Team. He managed to record six points in the 2024 McDonalds All-American game and converted two 3-pointers. Freeman was one of the members of the Bahamas National Team that participated in a 2024 Olympics qualifying tournament. After being rated as a five-star recruit, Freeman enrolled at Syracuse University in 2024. As of January 2025, Freeman averaged 13.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists during his freshman year with the Orange, as per ESPN.
