Aglaea E1 vs S1 in Honkai Star Rail: Which one should you pull?

When the second phase of Honkai Star Rail version 3.3 commences, players will be able to get Aglaea from her rerun banner. The developers caught Trailblazers off guard by giving this Remembrance unit her first rerun banner after two patches. Since a significant number of players have pulled for Aglaea when she was first released back in version 3.0, many would want to either pull for her E1 or S1 (signature weapon).

Aglaea’s E1 is worth more than her S1 in Honkai Star Rail

As mentioned previously, we recommend pulling for Aglaea’s E1 over her S1 when her banner goes live in Honkai Star Rail. Her first Eidolon allows this Remembrance character to deal more damage to the enemies affected by the “Seam Stitch” state.

Moreover, the power-up grants her an extra 20 Energy every time Aglaea or Garmentmaker launches an attack on an adversary. On the other hand, her signature weapon grants her additional CRIT DMG and Basic ATK damage.

When comparing both, the effects of Aglaea’s weapon feel lackluster. During fights, Aglaea can be more useful with her Eidolon 1 equipped, as she can easily get her Ultimate in a few turns. This helps her out and allows her to be extremely powerful when paired with Sunday. Moreover, this Eidolon works exceptionally well with Huohuo, so players can keep activating Aglaea’s Ultimate over and over again.

Another reason that makes Aglaea’s E1 better than her S1 is the ability to make sure her enhanced state stays active at all times while she is engaged in a fight. If you already have this Remembrance unit and are looking for an upgrade, Aglaea’s E1 is the one you should be getting in Honkai Star Rail.
