Lee "Gumayusi" Min-Hyeong is the superstar AD Carry for Korean League of Legends team T1. He and his support Ryu "Keria" Min-Seok, have established themselves as one of the best bot lanes in the world. The youngster is known for his incredible mechanical talent as well as being exceptional during teamfights. His ability to be clutch makes him a fearsome opponent that enemy teams must shut down to stop T1 from running away with a victory.

This has been the case for T1 at League of Legends MSI 2023, as Gumayusi has been the focal point for many of their game plans. With high-impact performances on champions such as Aphelios and Jinx, watching Gumayusi has been a treat for League of Legends fans throughout the international tournament. T1 is looking to bounce back after losing a close series against JD Gaming, and Gumayusi will be the primary player who has to be enabled if T1 wants to have their rematch versus JD Gaming.

Park "Ruler" Jae-Hyeok is the AD Carry for the LPL giants, JD Gaming. After spending all of his career in the Korean League of Legends scene, Ruler's move to China came as a surprise, drawing many eyes to his performance in a new environment.

Ruler did not skip a beat as he dominated the LPL with JD Gaming, winning their third LPL title. He has also continued this dominance at the League of Legends MSI 2023, putting up incredible damage numbers on champions such as Jinx and Zeri. His awareness and positioning in teamfights have been second to none. Ruler has looked like the best AD Carry at the tournament, especially after defeating his rival Gumayusi in a nail-biting best-of-five.

JD Gaming is now one win away from lifting the League of Legends MSI 2023 title, and Ruler will once again be at the forefront of JDG's game plans to carry them over the finish line and lift their first-ever MSI title.

Chovy's biggest strengths are his laning phase and his knack for farming very efficiently, resulting in big individual gold leads over his lane opponent. He is also a great playmaker during teamfights. Chovy is the jack-of-all-trades when it comes to being a mid lane and has continued his impressive form at League of Legends MSI 2023.

Chovy had multiple impressive games on his comfort champion Ahri and a phenomenal Nautilus game versus C9. His iconic Rumble play against T1 almost won Gen.G the entire series as well. Chovy and Gen.G will take on Bilibili Gaming to determine T1's opponents in the lower bracket finals. He will be going into this matchup as the better mid laner against Zeng "Yagao" Qi and will be an integral player for Gen.G's hopes of staying alive in the tournament.

In a tournament where the East has dominated, and the Eastern players have looked levels above their Western counterparts, one player has managed to be the exception and has stood out for his exceptional performance at League of Legends MSI 2023. That player is none other than G2 Esports' rookie jungler Martin "Yike" Sundelin.

Yike rose to the ranks of Europe's regional league in 2021 and found himself on the starting lineup of G2 Esports at the start of 2023. He impressed everybody with his aggressive and carry-oriented playstyle. His signature champs in the LEC included Bel'Veth, Lillia, Graves, and Viego.

Yike was doubted coming into his first-ever international tournament, and many fans expected him to be thoroughly exposed and outclassed by better junglers. This was far from the case despite G2 being eliminated at the hands of Bilibili Gaming. Yike had multiple hard carry performances on champions like Nidalee, Viego, and Poppy.

Yike showed his impressive champion pool and gained the respect of many Eastern fans, even Eastern junglers like Han "Peanut" Wang-Ho praising the Swedish rookie. Fans expect Yike to take to the stage during the LEC 2023 Summer Split.
