Max Verstappen is a racing driver who competes in the FIA World Formula 1 Championship. He is now a four-time world Formula 1 champion, winning the drivers' title from 2021 to 2024 with the Red Bull Racing F1 team. The 2025 season will be his 11th F1 season, and through all these years, he has won 65 Grand Prix races.

While many Dutch drivers drove in F1 in the past era, no Dutch driver ever started an F1 Grand Prix. However, Verstappen changed this, and he became the first Dutchman to ever score a pole position in the history of F1 in 2019. By winning the fourth title in 2024, Verstappen joined an elite group of drivers like Fangio and Alain Prost. This was impossible with his teams, mechanics, and his respective performance and race engineers.

In 2024, Liambiase was promoted to head of race engineering operations for the 2025 season.
