Making the rounds across social media is the news of another Liverpool legend, John Arne Riise hanging his boots following the footsteps of Daniel Agger. There has been plenty of activity in the transfer window too, as Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, PSG and Barcelona are all looking to bring in world class talent.
Here are the transfer news and rumours for June 13th.
- AS Roma’s Miralem Pjanic was officially in Turin for a medical earlier today, revealed on Juventus’ official twitter account. The 26-year-old was on Chelsea’s radar too, but Juventus snapped the midfielder up after meeting a £30million clause in his contract. The deal is set to be officially announced in the next 24 hours.
- Inter Milan are keen to bring in Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi, reported by Corriere dello Sport. Earlier reports had suggested Juventus as being the clear favourites to sign Berardi with the possible motive to off-load him elsewhere, but Inter are looking to hijack the move.
- AS Roma are preparing a move for Newcastle’s Georginio Wijnaldum, the Express on Sunday reports. The Italian club are looking for a replacement for Miralem Pjanic and have identified the Netherlands international as the man to fill in his shoes. Wijnaldum has been heavily tipped to leave the Magpies after they were unable to survive the relegation drop.
