Manchester United up Morata offer

The Guardian reports that Manchester United have increased their bid to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid. According to the English paper, United have now bid in excess of £60 million to prise the Spaniard away from the Bernabeu after their initial bid of £52 million was rejected.

The European Champions could be tempted to sell Morata given United’s increased bid but at the moment there is no news of Los Blancos’ response.

Chelsea offer Matic to Juventus in exchange for Bonucci

According to the Sun, Antonio Conte is desperate to bring Leonardo Bonucci to Stamford Bridge. The paper reports that Conte has offered Juventus £48 million in cash plus Nemanja Matic in exchange for Bonucci. The Chelsea boss is keen on reuniting with Bonucci and is making every effort possible to sign his former player.

Liverpool in for De Vrij

After Liverpool reportedly refused to meet Southampton’s demands for Virgil Van Dijk, they have now turned their attention to Lazio’s Stephan De Vrij. Sky Italia report that Liverpool have gotten disillusioned by Southampton’s excessive demands for Van Dijk and are now seeking a move for a much cheaper alternative in Lazio’s De Vrij.

A centre-back is high on Liverpool’s priority list and De Vrij fits the bill perfectly.
